Burnt out after days
The brightness and appearance was nice but it only lasted under a week.

"Super bright" is absolutely correct. These guys shine.
Hooked up to a suitable driver, these LEDs are really bright. I haven't left them on long enough to tell what kind of a heat sink they'd need, but their metal base is pretty solid, so I expect that with decent air flow, they might do ok without any additional sink.
