I live in Ontario where a ton of salt is laid down. This pin works well so far. The cover seems to keep stuff out and the pin is holding through various towing.

Bought this pin a few months back. It was pretty solid and held great. Never gave me a problem, was pulling about 11k pounds with it. Unfortunately, last Friday I made it home without my BW hitch. Someone snapped off the locking head from the pin. It snapped right off. Lost just about $400 including pin as my hitch was $370. Wish the pin was tougher to where a thief could have a harder time breaking it at least.
