Natalie and the One-of-a-Kind Wonderful Day! (That's Nat!)

My 5 year old daughter LOVED this book! We read (I read aloud) a chapter or 2 a night and she never wants to stop. The story line reminds me of things my daughter would do! Great book for parents to get their kids if they are worried (like I was) about the horrible attitude and mean language used and acceptable in other popular children's chapter books! Natalie is a win for us and my daughter can't wait to start the next book in the series!

This is our first Natalie book and my girls (I have three under age 9) were engrossed in the story as I read (yes, even the 9-year-old but she's a bookworm and reads anything). The only issue I had was that I was tripping over the words as I read because of some poorly constructed phrases. It's not extreme, just a little annoying. Some may like it as they feel like they are in Natalie's mind the entire story but I found I did not like that particular style. Other than that the book truly is great. If you can see an example inside the book then you may see what I mean.The stories are relatable and we laughed at the antics and silliness. We also had great discussions during the serious parts. The end made me tear up. I love that this book has a Christian worldview (though it is not heavily spiritual). We will definitely be buying more of this series! They're already begging for the next one.

My Granddaughter loves Natalie books!

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter, and she loves it. She wants the rest of the Natalie books. I will do anything I can to encourage her love of reading.

My Natalie loved this story very silly.

This is written in the voice of an American child. Brits and Americans may both speak English but this might as well have been written in a foreign language. I couldn't read it in the right accent and my niece couldn't understand what was going on. We gave up after two pages.

What a lovely storybook!Read this with my 6 year old daughter in the evenings and we both really enjoyed it!!!!!
