Great selection of songs clearly annotated.

Really great fake book with a terrific collection of songs! I love the print, the notation and most songs are in its original key including the intro. Great to play while singing along too!

Great collection of songs but about 25% are duds. That is a better ratio than a lot of fake books. This is extremely heavy on songs from The Drifters and doowop groups. Everyone has their own ideas of what should be in a pop collection, my thoughts are that it doesn't need to be so much doowop.I love Real Book formats and this does a fantastic job of presenting the collection in that format. Even if I disagree with some chords or melodies, it is a great shortcut to figuring out by ear or poking around those chord sites on the internet. Not having to go to any of those sites makes this book worth it.I hope there is a volume 2 eventually.

I own all the jazz, blues, rock real books. Was dying for Pop. More please! Very handy. Saves the time of making my own charts and the real book versions are always close and basic enough to facilitate easy performance and interpretation for an intermediate chart reading musician. Looking forward to Volume 2!

So much fun to learn songs from this book. Of course listening to the original song is essential.

I loaded the Ebook onto my 8x12 iPad put it on my iPad floor stand and I use a bluetooth foot pedal to turn the pages. Hands free, it's clear and easy to read even in a dark venue

It's not bad, but you'd better have a good ear, because there are more than a few places where the lyrics are wrong or where someone couldn't tell the difference between for example a diminished chord and a dominant 7th. If you're a decent musician, you'll catch and fix these errors, but I bought it so I wouldn't have to.

Fantastic. The cure for all the horrible, incorrect transcriptions on guitar tab websites. Notation is clean, easy to read. Important licks are notated. Song structure is clear, lyrics are all there. Looking forward to future volumes!
