English Blue Stilton - Sold by the Pound

Delicious, high quality, decent packaging. Highly recommend!For those who are wondering about how does it taste like - it has elegant buttery texture with a moderately salty, moldy flavor.It's perfect for being used as a spread on toasted French baguette.

The cheese arrived on time and was packaged well, it tasted great and will be a center piece on my snack bar for Thanksgiving day.

Stilton is one of my favorite blue cheeses, and this one is VERY GOOD. Smooth with a nice bite on the tongue.

I bought a rare cheese from them (I don't know if it's objectively rare, but I can't get it here otherwise) and I was extremely impressed by the care they took in the packaging. When it arrived it had reached room temperature, but there was ample evidence they'd done all they could to ensure its refrigeration during transit. (besides my cheese the box had lots of empty bags that used to contain dry ice) Ultimately you can't defeat physics, they know this, and shipped it accordingly. The cheese itself lasted a good month! (Slice off a bit, drizzle it in maple syrup and add a splash of red wine vinegar. You'll thank me in the morning. There are psychoactive properties.)

Maybe I am not aware of what English Bleu Cheese is suppose to be, but not for me! Way too salty and sweet at the same time? Can that be in anything but some snacks they make? Hardly any bleu cheese veining in it. I love me some Bleu Cheese, I stuff celery with it. But my fave is my home made salad dressing...and I just made a whole jar before I tasted this stuff. I'll probably throw it away......

I was surprised reading the reviews at just how good this is and then I received it. I am always looking for the best Bleu Cheese and never thought I'd find it on Amazon but this stuff is fantastic! It also indicated a length delivery but then showed up in a couple days. It was packaged air tight, wrapped in paper, and in a box with ice packs. All three ice packs were still frozen on receipt. And this is one massive chunk of cheese too! If it's for personal use, be prepared because you will likely end up slicing it in thirds or so and freezing some. I've researched and it is perfectly fine to freeze (double wrapped in plastic wrap).

Well packed. Good cheese; maybe a bit milder than I expected, but I'm no authority on that. BUT, they shorted me 1.2 ounces out of the 16 I was supposed to get.
