Safe, natural, it works!!
My dogs have not had fleas in over two years since I started using this product. They love the taste! I had two dogs get very sick after giving them the toxic oral flea medication from the vet and I was looking for an alternative. I use this way less often in the cool months because we don’t get fleas during that time. But as soon as it warms up we use it religiously and it definitely does what it’s supposed to do, and without the toxic chemicals of other flea treatments. Love it!

Great NATURAL deterant for fleas.
Love the product. My only complaint is the bottle, needs a better pour spout as it dribbles down the side of the bottle after you pour into the measuring spoons. I used it all last season and my dogs are completely flea free. I did find a tick on my young pup twice during the year but we travel south and our dogs are competitors in AKC Retriever Field events so I use this along with a natural oil collar and a cedar oil based spray. All these items seem to keep them pest free 98% of the time and 100% flea free (also the mosquitos don't seem to like them either). Whatever you choose to use...please DON'T use any chemicals. I've seen first hand the seizures and ill dogs these poisons cause, not to mention cutting their lives short. Go Natural!!! Flea Free is a great product!!!

It works and is not harmful to your pet!!
Only product I have used that keeps fleas and ticks off of my fur baby! No more poison for my boy. Excellent product and grateful to have discovered this. Give it a bit of time to work and get in your pet's system. You will not regret eliminating toxins that suppress your pet's immune system, supporting it instead with healthy all natural ingredients. Would give 10 stars if I could!

DILUTED NOW?!?!
This worked great for so many months last year, but it seems to be less potent like it's been watered down and now it's not working anymore. What's the deal?

eh....
I originally thought this product was 5 stars! It seemed to work wonders. In the beginning, I started giving a teaspoonful to each of our dogs every single day on a small piece of bread. Doing it this way, I realized there were no signs of itching or fleas, so my assumption would be this stuff works! But then there were days I would forget so instead of giving it to them on bread, I then decided to add it to their water. I would put an entire cup in the bottom of their 4 gallon automatic waterer. For whatever reason, that did not cut the mustard. I found a flea on one of my dogs the other day. So I bit the bullet, called the vet and we are now back on the ever so expensive vet prescribed monthly medication. If you can continue to remember to give a teaspoon a day to your pet, it might be a good deal for you. But it wasn't convenient for me.

A Miracle!
I can't say enough good things about this AMAZING product. The answer I'd been searching for to address our horrible flea problem!!!! I noticed a reduction in fleas in just a day and in no time they were long gone. Maybe worked so quickly because we had started the cats on a raw diet, but they are back to canned food and a little grain-free kibble and still doing great. Their ear mites are gone too, and coats very healthy, so I am doubly impressed. I started with the small one, but got the larger, economy size because I'll be using this great stuff forever.

Appears to be working!
I've been approaching flea and tick control for my dog as objectively as possible. While I'm not sure how I feel about the veracity of the Snopes-worthy email warnings against Frontline and the ilk, I read enough about the ingredients (and subsequent lawsuits) to know that I wanted to pursue alternatives for my pup.I tried a clove oil-based natural gel last year, and after 5 baths and a lot of open windows (in the middle of January) we decided it wasn't the best option for our pet. After clicking around the net and speaking with a few vets and rescuer shelter workers, I was lead to Flea Free and I'm fairly happy with the results. The reason I'm not gushing about the efficacy of the product is that it is next to impossible to say that it is scientifically "better" than Frontline. In order for a claim like this to be made, three near-identical dogs (one with Frontline, one with Flea Free, and one with neither as a control) would need to be subjecting to an equal number of fleas and ticks before any measurements can be made. I mention this because I was tired of seeing "This works! My dog hasn't had a tick since I used it!" reviews since they're essentially anecdotal in nature. At any rate- since those nature of reviews are all we have to go off of, here are my experience with the product: Yes, it smells quite strongly (don't spill it on yourself or your clothing!) but thankfully there have not been any...erm... digestive issues or garlic-scented emissions from our dog and he's been on it for 2 months now. Within a week or so of initial use, we noticed a tick on his chest. I realized this product needs time to titrate so I let it slide. A few weeks later, we took him out to a romp in the woods with a friend's dog and he emerged tick-free after hours frolicking in the underbrush and tall grasses. Two weeks later, we found a tick on his nose after playing in the yard. The plural of anecdote is not data, so please do not take this review to mean that the product works perfectly or doesn't work at all. From what I've seen, it appears to work as well as Frontline but doesn't carry the potential risks that the more aggressive pesticides in Frontline do. Note: this is just from what I've seen. So, long story short: it works, it's not perfect, but no flea and tick control is. For my dog, and my piece of mind, however, I plan to use Flea Free for the rest of his life. Finally, I read one review of this product which claimed it causes anemia in dogs just like onion does. This is not true as garlic does not contain anywhere near the thiosulphate concentration that onion does, however if you are concerned with such a thing, simple bloodwork can determine whether this product is causing any issues like anemia in your dog.

It Really Works!
I have found even if fleas or ticks get on your dog they are not as lively as they normally would be. Once my dog was off his flea preventitive for over 2 months and then we moved to a place where the backyard was overrun with fleas. When I realized that and checked him I could see that he was full of fleas but they just seemed to be chilling out, not jumping anywhere so a good bath was all it took to get rid of them. The few times that I've found ticks on him since I started him on flea free I was able to knock the ticks off with my finger which means they hadn't attached to him although they were on him for at least an hour or more and they were easy to dispose of because they seemed to be drugged so they didn't move fast once I knocked them off. By the way I live in Florida so fleas and ticks are year round problems. I highly recommend Flea Free.
