Original Pelican Replacement Pluck Foam Set for Pelican 1535 case. # 1535AirFS

I purchased this foam from CVPKG for the Pelican 1535 Travel (luggage) cases. Not sure if this is an official Pelican Product, but immediately upon opening the box I was hit with a strong chemical smell. I prefer my personal travel items not to be packed with the chemical smell. I returned the foam untouched and unused in the original box. Not sure why CVPKG had to charge a restocking fee for a product they will turn around and sell again as new. Be absolutely sure you want this item from CVPKG or you will be charged a high restocking fee as well. Pelican sells the foam inserts on their official website, at a slightly higher cost.

I did not realize that the foam would be solid. I drew out the sections to be removed and then had to cut through the separate sections with a sharp knife. It didn't work very well. I should have ordered the foam that pulls out in small pieces.. live and learn..

It’s good for the replacement on my sons case it was a little different size even though it dated it was for his exact case. He made it work no problem.

Save your time and headaches. Are you really going to use spray glue to try and get the foam back to original? It's not cheap but it's dense as heck and well put together. Perfect replacement, from the maker.

i take around a 3000 rc car in it and it works great looks like they made it just for me
