I appreciated understanding the Why of Scrum before the How. Too often, tools become an end unto themselves. This book explained one trap was that the tool becomes the end-all and the Scrum Master becomes the Communication go-between. Well stated and clear why nots on these two traps. Thank you!

It accomplishes its purpose as an introduction.To improve the book I would include1. Some chart of the process would have been nice,2. A comparison to the waterfall method.3. One or two examples

This book was a pleasure to read. Very well researched, I haven't seen a book as good as this yet on the topic of SCRUM. I'd recommend giving this book a read.

Sure enough, when I was called back in for a 2nd interview, they focused on my knowledge of SCRUM. Armed with what I just read, I aced that interview and was offered a position on the spot.
