Maybe the Feliway atomizer hormones don't work for every cat, but it sure helps my two adopted cats calm down and get along better. Pricey, but worth the money. I don't notice any smell from it. One bottle lasts a month. The atomizer is good for exactly three months.

My vet had recommend this to me to help keep my 2 cats calm. There was hissing and fighting. No more! It's a miracle! Truly a miracle. When I stopped for a couple of months the calm was gone. I bought it again and we all are living in peace. This product works! Try it. The Vet instructed me to purchase the "Optimum". Not the other one. It's not cheap. However, it's worth the money for your pets to kiss one another rather than hissing and chasing in anger while disrupting the whole house and upsetting themselves. Everyones happy. It starts to work immediately. No waiting to get results. Make sure to put it in a room where the aggressor kitty spends alot of time. Keep windows closed to get the maximum affect. It doesn't get them stoned. Just an overall calm. My other one who isn't aggressive is simply more relaxed from it. All good! My vet has 8 cats and they all live happy together due to the help of this product.

I'm a repeat customer. It works well on my girls. Keeps them calm.Unfortunately, the bottles can sometimes leak. The packaging is the bottles come in is decent. It keeps them organized as I use them up.

We have three cats who are sometimes difficult with one another. We have one cat who is actually on Prozac because he has a high stress level. Our vet suggested these years ago and we have been using various brands over the years. Feliway is by far and above, the best! While they may cost a little more than competitors, they are worth every penny. I can actually tell when the diffusers are almost empty by the behavior of my particularly stressed ginger boy. If he has been acting out a little for a day or two, I always check the level of the diffuser. And sure enough, it’s time for a refill. Feliway diffusers certainly help keep the peace in our home. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

We have four cats ...three of them get along great, all girls, spayed and chill natures. Then I took in a much larger neutered male cat, and although he was a good cat , with me, he was bullying one of the girl cats and it was getting worse by the day. Not vicious, but invading her space, menacing her to the point where she was starting to hide and came out when he was not in the room, furtively glancing around to make sure he was not there. This went on for three weeks and I could see it was getting worse and she was jumpy, etc. No matter what I said to him, yelling, 'stop', putting him in another room, nothing worked. Then I recalled that many years ago, I had gotten this product that helped an older male cat ( neutered ) from spraying in the house, when he would smell the outside males, in the spring. So I got some again, this past week, and I was really shocked how quickly it worked. I got a bottle for each room in the house, plugged them in and within literally 30 minutes, the ' bully' was splayed out on his back snoozing with his feet in the air...and his bullying victim was in the same room, about three feet away, ALSO snoozing ! Its now been about four days and no fights, the bullied cat is now normal again, and the big bully has pretty much forgotten his bullying tactics and stopped all the nonsense. Peace restored ! Well worth it and as I mentioned, it also worked well to stop cats from spraying in the house ! if you have a particular problem, call their customer service and they will help you with instructions...they probably have a good website, too.

As a veterinarian I recommend this product a lot. I do believe it helps calm some cats. This is my first experience actually using it in my house and am only giving 3 stars because the refills did not last 30 days. I am not convinced it is worth the money

I'm giving this 5 stars because I noticed a difference in my cats within a day of using them for the first time. The fighting stopped and the bullying stopped. The anxiety symptoms went away. There was a noticeable calm in the house and it was great. Fast forward a few months and it no longer works. We are right back to where we were before we started using it. I think cats develop an immunity to whatever kind you use. These may work again for us after we have taken a break from them. The thing is, they are crazy expensive and I have never seen a sale on them anywhere. It's a lot of money to spend, hoping that they will start working again. While they initially helped with fighting and bullying issues, they never did do anything about spraying problems. In all fairness, I haven't found a brand that has helped with that. As other reviewers have mentioned, these do leak oil. I haven't had oil on the floor or on the walls but the diffuser gets covered in it and then hair gets stuck to it. You have to wipe the diffusers off once or twice a week. Again, 5 stars because they truly worked better than any brand I have tried for the first 2 months. I wouldn't give 5 stars for longevity or for price. My cats have had a little break from Feliway Optimum so I would try them again, hoping for the initial result, if they ever go on sale.
