Love this book!! Wouldn’t want to do Bible in a year without it. Simple over view to focus in on key areas & is great for quick review later or to help remember. Perfect layout!

If you are listening along with Father Mike then this companion book is a great help and it gives the opportunity for personal review.

Easy review of important events of the chapters and daily episodes in the timeline. It has a great summary for each chapter and has a space for you to write ideas or notes. You could also highlight important concepts you want to review again. There are some maps and drawings of Archaeological designs such as one of The City of Jerusalem at the time of David. It helps you see what it might have looked like at that time.

If you are reading along with Father Mike, get the companion. It is really helpful to take notes and highlight.

Very nice to have when listening to Bible

I signed up for Bible in a Year program at my church, but chose to study alone at home instead of going to group meetings at night. The contents are mostly repetition of Fr. Mike’s podcasts, but I like it on paper, so I am happy to use it. Just hoping the whole thing doesn’t go the way toward too much commercialism.

I simply love Fr. Mike's enthusiasm for God's Word. It is contagious! I am 64 years old and a "cradle catholic" reading the Bible front to back for the first time. Fr. Mike makes it exciting and fun and the comments in the Companion bring it all together, along with daily prayers. Already have Volume III.

Excellent companion to use along with the Podcast by Father Mike Schmitzs, makes reading the Bible so much easier
