I am very pleased with this umbrella. The color is rich; built sturdy; easy to open & close. Only disappointment is that there were no ties to secure it when closed. Arrived in time & packaged well. I would recommend this product.

It does what is suppose to block the sun and provide shade. Easy to assemble one person , not that heavy, good sturdy umbrellaExactly as described!

We bought this umbrella to block the sun on the porch. Compared to other similar umbrellas, this one is a medium-sized device, but even at that it barely fits the space. The tilting feature is very important for us as it allows not only to open it fully, but provides a good shadow in the afternoon.As to the craftmanship, the umbrella looks well-made, but only time will tell how long it can be used. It is very easy to use, turn the handle one direction to open it, turn in reverse to close. There is a button that controls tilting. This button is exposed and can be used only when the umbrella is fully open, otherwise, the sliding ring of the mechanism covers it. There is only one angle at which the umbrella can be tilted but it can go in one of two directions. It appears well-balanced as tilting and straightening does not take much effort.The umbrella comes bare, just umbrella and the post. You need a base so the umbrella will be able to stand. The post is thinner than the smallest adapter in the base that was recommended by Amazon to purchase for this umbrella. The base weighs about 20lb. but it is not sufficient to withstand the power of a light wind. One would need a much heavier base filled with sand or water to hold this umbrella in upright position when open. Another option would be a patio table with a hole in the center for the umbrella but even in this case, some base is still needed.Overall, I like the umbrella as it does what it is supposed to do and is of just right diameter for my porch. I will have to buy a table to better support it. For now, I give it four stars because it did not come with the proper stand nor it has a band to keep it closed when not in use. The post could be a bit wider to fit the base better.

I’ve gone through a few umbrellas. They never seem to handle the wind up on my hill but this one has been great !! It’s huge and gives us lots of shade and is easy to open , close, and tilt. Thing has been through a lot in the weather and still works great !! Highly recommend. I go for deals and usually don’t get as much satisfaction with things at a great price but this was an exception. Thank you!!!
