Very good 2 inch dense foam and worked well for a go kart seat l had to build. Very nice and dense and comfortable as well. Gives you a nice little cushion without a huge bulge.

I used this to make a pad for fireplace hearth, to protect new baby in to the house. Cuts easily with electric carving knife, glued with 3m spray glue and covered with fabric.

I got this for my new Ikea Soderhamn sofa because the existing cushions weren’t cutting it. And this foam cushion is exactly what it needed! I read the other reviews here and gave it shot. This comes shrink wrapped so you’ll need to let it air out and fluff up. I also pointed a fan at it for several hours and that expedited the process. I was able to easily cut the cushion in half for each of my 2 seats. I tried putting the foam in 2 different spots to see which one worked better. My photo shows what I did. It definitely worked better by just adding this to the existing cushion inside the zipper compartment. Try to align the corners before shoving it into place. It is a tight fit but it works. Don’t just place the foam on the frame outside of the cover- doesn’t work or look good. Do it right the first time! Definitely worth the money. I love how it looks and feels. The cushion is now more dense and bounces back nicely. Very comfortable for sure!

If you’re using this for a bed covering I would go to a 3” thick. It was very helpful for this purpose, but not quite cushy enough.

Instead of using the 1 inch to add. I used the 3 inch to completely replace. Its fuller and looks better. And tip for cutting, skip thr scissors. Use a blade edge and cut from the top down through the foam once half way you can finish with scissors. Its just too thick for only scissors. Finally it arrived much faster than expected. Ordered a 2nd one to finish the couch cushion replacement.

Excellent pad! Reapolstered a day bed with this stuff. It worked great.

Bought to add to my Soderhamn IKEA sofa cushions and works great

This is exactly what was needed. I spent a lot of time reading reviews for upholstery foam and I would like to say a big thank you to Misha for their review which helped me finally make a choice. I like my Soderhamn sofa and wish Ikea offered replacement seat cushions (and still sold the Soderhamn ottoman). The cushions were starting to get a little worn down in the middle of this three seater, as so many with the Soderhamn have experienced, and I thought why not just replace the seat insert. This foam is perfect. Cut it in half (I did not use a foam cutter as I was worried it would make the cut edge contract and cause a shift in depth measurement) so I used an exacto and scissors. The hardest part was getting it in under the current seat insert (again, thank you Misha for that suggestion) but once I figured that out (first one took about 15 minutes of frustrating struggle) I was able to do the second one much faster. Thus far it is a fantastic fix. It is firmer and pretty darn comfortable. Here’s hoping this works in the long term.

This foam is dense but soft. My dog throws up a lot amd her beds always get wrecked. I bought this foam to replace the inside of her bed as needed. She seems to enjoy it! The foam is bright white, clean and had no smell! I'm happy with my purchase.

Do not buy this product, it is so unevenly cut that you cannot make a smooth cushion with it if your life depended on it, bought this one and the 2 inch, when opened I thought maybe if i wait a day or two it would uncompress enough to be used but when it was fully uncompressed it was obvious that this was a scam seller that just has no quality control or care, it was different thicknesses along the length and the dimensions were off on several dimensions completely making it worthless to my project, again do not purchase
