I have suffered with a HORRENDOUS episode of FULL BODY SHINGLES for the past four (4) weeks!!!I'd like to share my experience in hopes that someone might benefit from it & no one else need suffer in silence. This pestilence exacerbated my PTSS symptom of horrible panic/anxiety syndrome. I thought I was the only one in the entire world with this life consuming disease. I felt despondent bc I thought I was a walking petri dish that could NEVER allow myself 2 EVER be near anyone EVER AGAIN!It began a month ago when I developed sporadic and intense tingling; then, itching all over my body; especially, on my nose & inside my nose & hot spots of my body. I thought it was fruit flies nipping at my nose, or one of my hundreds of allergies. I rubbed Benadryl cream on my nose.A couple days later, my scalp starts itching uncontrollably. Next, it began to itch along my back hairline & hot spots. It felt like stray hairs, or a feather tickling me everywhere.Then, the itch began to spread throughout my scalp & 2 the left of the nape of my neck along the hairline; then, I started to get an intense itch throughout my body that was worse right b4 I went to bed. I remember an intense itch happening on the back of my thighs, which developed into a miserable rash, or area with lots of bumps. It moved to the back of my calf on both legs. Then, I had patches of bumps on my arms, stomach, back, scalp, eyes/eyebrows--everywhere. I have intense and tickly itching on my entire face, especially nose, mouth/chin and eyes/eyebrows, as well as my arms, hand, neck, scalp, upper back, behind my ears, you name it. The itchiness was almost unbearable--worse than mosquito bites & even chiggers sand fleas (known as, “Noseeums” here in Florida)!!! I applied an ointment 4 insect bites called, “Chiggerex.”When I started breaking out in red itchy blotches, I thought I was having a eczema, or psoriasis outbreak; so, I started using my alternative treatments, which did no good.It progressed to nearly full body itching as tiny extremely itchy; but, barely noticeable) red pimple-like, itchy bumps formed, accompanied with the intense pain associated with shingles. Then, the bumps formed into blisters, which became very sore and hot. At first, I suspected mites or bed bugs; so, I washed and treated everything. I was washing sheets and towels daily. I even bought new pillows.Over the course of the next week, I continued to get worse. Shingles feels like snakes crawling under your skin & itch like a son of a witch! It itches beyond belief!!! I just wanted 2 kick a cat & let it scratch me with its claws! (I would NEVER harm any animal; except, the ones we eat--I’m just expressing my frustration level.)Finally, I researched & discovered the use of Dimethicone & ordered it from Amazon. When I first applied it 2 my SHINGLES, it itched worse than ever for a couple of minutes; but, then, it relieved the itching for awhile. The itching DEFINITELY gets worse at night. I have to take Benadryl & had 2 drink alcohol to help me sleep through the night and cut down on some of the intensity of the itching & pain, it is hard to sleep from the sheer itchiness of it. The pain & itching makes U think about ENDING it all 2 STOP it! I can’t take NSAIDs bc they cause asthma attacks, severe lung spasms & heart attacks.I was prescribed valacyclovir 400mg everyday as daily suppressive therapy after my outbreak. It’s not that medical staff don't WANT to help--they R afraid of transmission--I felt like they were afraid of me like ppl were afraid of plagues & leprosy; they figure there's no curing it; so, why put any effort into it & of course, the CREEPY factor. I have lost faith in the entire medical field. Everyday, I wonder how and why this could have possibly happened to me, and I have contemplated suicide 2 end it all 2 escape this constant tortue & feelings of hopelessness & helplessness.The areas of my chest above my boobs, on the left side on the back of my neck & my left backside of my shoulder were the areas that started the entire rash and remained problem spots throughout the ordeal.I attempted 2 treat this mysterious rash all over my body as an allergy, a fungal infection, a bacterial infection and a bug infestation. It consumed me 24/7. I was constantly fighting the itch and trying various treatments to get rid of the rash. When I wasn't washing & cleaning everything, or treating my bumps, I was researching stuff on the Internet. I changed my diet 2 rule out food allergies. I bought tons of supplements 2 trt 2 detox my body, as well as alternative therapy & treatments. Nothing helped.My right eye started itching, & it feels like my something is in my right eye & the sight in my right eye becomes REALLY BAD & is getting worse. The eye clinic tested my eyes & said they didn’t see anything wrong with my right eye; but, my left eye had a cataract that needed the lens replaced. I informed them that I could see OK out of my left eye; but, my right eye was getting worse & worse & it feels like there’s something on the right side of my right eye (the sclera--white part).I researched & discovered that Tagamet (Cimetidine) can be purchased over the counter. It is usually taken for heartburn because it lowers stomach acid; but, it might B as effective as the antiviral medications bc it’s a histamine blocker and favorably modulates immune function by inhibiting T-suppressor cells. It has been reported that it has helped clear other’s full body SHINGLES. I began taking Tagamet today, in addition 2 Acyclovir in order 2 get a handle on SHINGLES!!! You're supposed to take three 200mg tablets throughout the day; and then, two at night; so, total 1000mg. For the first time in a month, I feel hopeful that this might help 2 end this NIGHTMARE.I'm not sure if it helped 2 dry the SHINGLE blisters, or if it was the Acyclovir, Benadryl, or Tagamet & Pepto Bismol; but, the SHINGLES have finally improved. I still have a few reddish-purplish spots; but, they might be permanent scars, which is most probably caused by post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.I am wondering if my immune system has to be compromised as this is not how the virus normally acts in an adult.From research, I am considering taking prednisone, oral steroids and topical steroids for my scalp and body; but, it has such terrible side effects, I would like 2 have other options.I‘m TERRIFIED that this will never end; however, I am attempting 2 remain hopeful as I know stress exacerbates SHINGLES; but, it is almost impossible.I attempted 2 consult with my family about it, and they suggest it’s hypochondria :(It was me who informed my family members that 80% of all illnesses are psychosomatic. I feel devastated--there is no possible way I can be denied of the fact this disease is eating me alive.It has been a never-ending NIGHTMARE!!!WARNING: If U haven't had a SHINGLES vaccine, I would highly SUGGEST that U consider getting one. My hubby ran 2 our local Publix grocery store 2 get a vaccine after he saw what I had 2 endure.

This is great to kill superlice. My niece comes to visit my daughter on the weekends and she had a bad case of super lice. Right when she would walk inside my house, I would do the treatment on her. I saturate her hair with the product and comb out with a lice comb. By the third weekend she was over, she no longer had any. This was the safest and most effective way to go.

Used with the terminator comb for Lice treatment and it worked perfectly. Two treatments and done. We had tried everything on our three daughters (all with long thick hair). This is the only thing that work- fast and easy, too. Wish we had tried it first! Would have saved us a ton of money, time and aggravation.

We use it twice and it works to get rid of lice. Got help us if our kid gets it again. I don’t understand where she keeps getting it. At least this works. It’s a bit expensive but cheaper than others. Kill lice, yes! 😀

The product arrived on time, but had leaked all over the inside of the box. The oil had coated the other product inside the box as well. It is a very heavy oil and was a mess. Not sure what caused it to leak but be aware of what ships inside the same packaging as this oil.

This is low quality, high pore-clogging stuff. I wish I could take it to a lab to have it tested, but it is not good. It caused my skin to break out everywhere I used it .... and I wasn’t sure it was this product (I would like to call it dimethicone, but I am not convinced it is dimethicone) until I had a friend try it and he also broke out everywhere it touched his skin. Gross. Will NOT be buying again.

I make my own anti frizz, shiny hair serums or add a tiny bit to my store bought hair products, DIY leather conditioner, furniture polish, and also use it to make a DIY flea killer mixed with a little geranium essential oil for my little pets, just a bit on the back of their necks where they can't lick it off for cats or in a little dab down their back in a few spots for my little dogs... it is worth it for the flea killer alone.

When I opened up the package for this item the bag that it was in and the bottle were grossly oily . I’m confused on how it leaked since the bottle had a seal on it . I used it and it seems like plain old dimethicone . There’s no odor to it and it is thick .
