I got both this and the "Real" brand lychee syrup and I'm torn. The "Real" seems sweeter and faker tasting, not fake in a gross shampoo-like way just one dimensional like lychee candy. This one is more multifaceted so at first I thought it was better but one of the facets is that slightly off, fermented taste you get when you eat lychees that didn't have the stems left on, so the germs got in the stem hole, know what I mean? Not exactly rotten but well, not exactly NOT rotten. I noticed that aspect of the flavor was more pronounced with fizz like when I added this to plain soda water, which is the main way I drink it. And as for the other ways I like fruit syrup, in iced jasmine or black tea or just with tap water and vodka, the simpler, sweeter taste of the Real stands up to the other flavors better than this does. I'd need to use twice as much of this than of the other to taste it over tea or vodka! Just in plain tap water this may have an edge due to tasting more realistic and interesting. Allegedly both are made with real fruit so I'm not sure why they taste so different. Maybe the Real is boiled down to make it more concentrated and that changes the flavors, or maybe both vary depending on the current crop. At any rate they are both nice enough. Good way to get my lychee fix the 50 weeks a year they're not in the store (I can't stand the canned ones, they taste like can- at least these syrups don't have any weird taste like that). But considering this is more costly, and it takes more of it to flavor a drink, and it's less tasty, I will be sticking with Real.

But, more expensive, too.To me, this is to be used for better quality adult beverages that you sip. I prefer to guzzle, so this won't last me very long, nor is it a good value. The flavor is excellent and has a different taste than Lucy's Lime Juice. I prefer the taste of this lime juice, but there isn't enough product in the pouch for $25+ to justify the expense to me.

We made mango margaritas with this product and dipped the rims of the glasses in lime juice and then in Tajin seasoning. Best margarita I’ve ever had. Tastes like right off the tree puréed mango.

I like the foil container for the product, but it was placed into a shipping box with no packing material. It arrived with a small puncture in the container.

Great for everything! I, not only made cocktails (make sure you have simple syrup), but also a passion fruit cheesecake and some tartelettes.

I use this for tiki drinks and it’s excellent. Makes a nice passion fruit syrup if you add simple syrup to it. Lasts in the refrigerator for months.

I used this product as a mixer. It lasted longer then I expected.

Taste good

If you wonder what guava tastes like, try this. It's perfect for smoothies and cocktails. Very thick so you don't need masses to get the flavour. They got this pretty spot on. I can't get the pink guava here in london so this is my perfect alternative

Bit pricey from here but you tale the hit for convenience so cant really complain! Product itself is excellent, have purchased many times for use in cocktails. Lovely quality and an absolute necessity in a whiskey sour or french 75. Don't mess about with lemon juice concentrate, it will wreck your drinks :). Other juices and purees from this brand are also excellent quality.

I normally buy the other variety in the yellow plastic bottles which is great value, but it is nowhere near the quality of this lemon juice, it is so fresh, clean, and natural, its delicious, only trouble is I have used up a third of the pack in two days so it is between value and taste, take your pick.

Great for cocktail recipes, or general cooking. Have to freeze if you don't use it within 10 days. However, this product is the closest you can get without standing there for an hour squeezing lemons.
