After having it sit around my living room for a month. I noticed that 1. It primarily worked best in low light conditions ( best in complete darkness) 2. Got rid of the tiny flies and insects the most 3. Was occasionally loud ( a big moth makes it sound like multiple shots being fired) In the garage , during night time , it did perform better but I wasn't blown away or anything . The cord is pretty short so unless you're placing it next to an outlet , you'll need an extension . All in all , its alright

I bought this lamp for my patio in Miramar because the mosquitoes were driving me crazy. If you put it too close to where people sit, the light might irritate the eyes. Placement matters: I found it works best away from where people are sitting — you don’t want it near the seating area because it draws mosquitoes toward it (and potentially toward you if you’re too close). Also, keeping it some distance from other light sources improves its effectiveness. Overall: This mosquito-killer lamp was a good investment. For the cost, I felt like I got value because the environment went from buzzing chaos to quiet and comfortable. Let me clarify first there is nothing wrong with the product or the seller. I bought this from Amazon.SG assuming that items bought here can be used in Singapore homes. I was wrong. After opened up the package then I realised that the input voltage is rated at 110V AC. I don't think anyone will want to invest a transformer for this, let alone sitting inside your house which is also a fire hazard. Money wasted. Sam
