First of all: it's not perfect. But there is alot space to modify this ship. There are alot of deteails, maybe too many. I left out a few of them like the spider web. It's a ship with 14 guns, not bad at all. The instruction was challenging and that was good. I don't like it when it's too easy. This had the right difficult and it was alot of fun to build and that's what is the most important thing. And for 59 bucks you get alot of ship and it's very impressive.The downsides are: at some spots it's not very stable and the lower gun deck are not "really guns", just some technic bricks. I would have loved to have whole guns. The amament also doesn't make much sense. Ships of sailing age used to have their big guns on the lower battery deck. The ship would have needed som more pillars aswell so the big plates wouldn't bend while trying to stick bricks on them. The masts don't fit well together either and they easily fall apart. The figures are ok, they have alot of parts. Over 50 for all 4. I would prefer just 2 parts for the arm instead of 3 so it would be more stable. Also the legs are not very good and hard to stick on the ship. A little detail problem: the flags wave in the wrong direction. With the wind blowing from behind they should point to the front and not to the back.But all in all I give it 5 stars just because it's really fun to build, it's a very impressive pirate ship and for this pirce it's unbeatable. I would love to have more ships like this. Even other ships like imperial ones. They can also be smaller, I don't care. I always loved the old Lego Pirate series but they don't produce it anymore and I try to get ships, islands and forts wherever I can.

Da dieses Platte fehlt kann man die Brücke nicht weiterbauen. Schade sonst ist der Bausatz gut.

Bought this on a whim with some gift cards and was blown away. Good pieces that can be interchanged with the leading brand name. The only difference is the people. Identical packaging and instructions. Am looking to buy another. 22 inches high and 26 long. Very cool. Would definitely recommend.
