4th rung stuck after about 10 uses. (updated review after CS issued a quality replacement)
Rung got stuck, and will not unstick. Ladder appears to be good quality but if the rungs stick then it sort of is pointless (not so telescopic any more). I have tried silicon spray to unstick, but no go. Also there does not seem to be a way to contact the seller (meanfun) about this problem.UPDATE: I was contacted by Meanfun customer support and was pleasantly surprised at the commitment - they stand by their product. They promptly issued me a replacement! The replacement actually appears to be slightly better built than the original (although I had no issue with the quality on the original) . So kudos to the manufacturer and supplier, rare these days. Updated review to 5 stars.

Easy to put up and down.
I am able to reach the smoke detectors using this light weight ladder. My original ladder is too heavy and burdensome to lug around at my age. Bravo!

Sturdy and useable by a small(ish) person
This (12.5') telescoping ladder arrived ready to use. And I used it immediately to clean out a 9' high downspout that was keeping my gutters from working properly. (Why, yes, the HOA should handle this task; thanks for reminding me, but do they???) I'm 5'5", 125 lbs. Not the weakest, but very glad I opted for the lighter aluminum option over the stainless steel, which is about 6 lbs heavier and would be too awkward for me to operate. I'm also afraid of heights, so the stability of this ladder helps remove some of that issue. This ladder opens easily (use the instruction manual provided) and at first I wasn't sure it was locked, even though I heard the clicking of the lock for each rung.I leaned it on the gutter and the base was1) front path2) neighbor's stoop3) level front yard with pine needle mulchThe ladder was very stable and sturdy on all 3 surfaces.I had a minute of trouble getting the final step to retract (the black retract-all buttons are harder to operate than the red individual rung-retract buttons), but then it worked and the ladder was back to its compact and ready-to-store configuration.Guess I'll have to get to all those inside paint jobs I've been putting off...

STAINLESS IS STEEL, ALUMINUM IS NOT
I ordered and paid for an Aluminum ladder, but got a stainless for the same money. My "ad" on Amazon said that this was a possibility, and for me it was OK to get the stainless one. Heavier? yes. But the same size and function as a cheaper, less stable and less durable one. When I shop, especially on Amazon, I look ad nausium. I could see NO difference between the better ladders or between the less expensive ones. MeanFun (weird name, I know) looked identical to much more expensive ladders. Yes, made in China like most of the others, unless it is explicitly labeled as Made in USA, but the price between the two makers is in the $300 range difference! For my money, the total use I expect to have (I am not a guy who carries my ladders on top of my truck), made in China will do me fine. I refuse to pay for more and get less if I don't have to. Customer service is sometimes a crap-shoot. With MeanFun, I believe their advertised CS is genuine. I will see.

Good for RV roof access
The media could not be loaded. I like the compact size of this ladder to take with me while RVing for roof access. It was a little heavier than I imagined, but easy to use and manageable. The ladder feels strong and sturdy when climbing. I am not a featherweight to say the least. I’m almost 60 and not as strong as I used to be. But felt I could handle the ladder just fine as long as I take my time. Raising and lowering the ladder isn’t difficult. Just don’t try to carry it too far once fully extended. The release mechanisms are easy to use except the bottom (last) release requires a little more strength to engage. I imagine that is by design to prevent inadvertent release. If raising the ladder to it’s maximum height, ensure you begin extending with the top rung. If raising the ladder to an intermediate height, begin raising ladder with bottom rung. It helps to place one foot on the bottom rung to stabilize while raising. My RV is 12.5’ (counting A/C unit on top). So the 12.5’ ladder gives me plenty of ladder to access roof with ladder rungs to hang on to. I did not get on top of camper since I did not have a “spotter”. I never get on my RV roof without someone nearby to make sure I don’t take a tumble. If anyone has videos of getting on top of camper from ladder please share.

As advertised for my needs.
Good ladder that allows for easier storage and mobility. It worked for my needs as advertised. Make sure to read the instruction manual before use to best understand how it expands and detracts correctly. Don’t use trial and error with a ladder.

Works but a bit scary
Love how compact it goes down. But wish it was 6 inches wider. Just doesn’t feel stable enough, and I think a wider base would help prevent it feeling like it’s going to tip sideways.
