I think this unit is a very nice piece of furniture, however, it did take two people to put together and at some points, it was a little difficult to screw the screws in. I also think it is a little more pricey than it's worth.

Ordered two of these, separately, both arrived in broken boxes. The first one had a broken bottom panel that looked like someone had punched it. I logged the issue with customer service and they wanted a long form filled out and a bunch of photos provided. Fine. Eventually they sent the panel (no express, no fast tracking, just standard postage so had to wait for it). Now I finally open it to discover they sent the wrong color replacement panel, so the dang thing is still unusable! Going to try for take 3.In the meantime we assembled the second unit which arrived undamaged despite the broken and open box. It was a struggle, the holes hadn't been drilled properly and putting the legs on the unit was particularly difficult. They tell you to not use a drill, but hand-tightening is nigh on impossible. Some of the screw holes got damaged during the assembly and we ended up having to get some liquid nails just to finish the job. Now that it's finally put together, it's fine. It looks cheaper and flimsier than in the photos and not really worth the price, IMO. I wish we'd ordered different TV stands because these have been nothing but problems.

The quality of the product or the sturdiness is not an issue. Great product for the cost. Took 45 minutes to put together and the instructions were very simple and helpful.The one negative thing about this stand is the size of the 4 cabinets. My receiver and my surge protector do not fit in any of the cabinets. This unit would have been fine if it only had 3 rows of cabinets.

Please pay attention to my headline! If you are interested in purchasing this product, please go the extra mile and just pay for assembly. I am one who is pretty nifty at assembling furniture; however, this one gave me some difficulty.First, screwing in the screws into the pre-drilled holes was agonizing. The wood begins to strip as you turn with a teeny Allen wrench that is provided. Talk about hurting fingers! Secondly, the instructions look like a chemical equation. If only illustrations within the booklet were drawn better, I would have not been so against continuing reading them. Third, the doors! The holes that are pre-drilled are off a few inches which made it more difficult to ensure that the doors were going to be applied correctly.Moral of the story: hire the Amazon workers to assemble if you are thinking about purchasing this item.

Overall a good piece of furniture for the price. I read other reviews of frustrated people building this. I have three tips to help with those frustrations. 1. The legs on front will most likely split when inserting screw. I glued and inserted two screws across the crack to fortify. I used a countersink for the screw heads to avoid splitting it the other direction 2. Put screws in half way carefully into the pre marked screw positions and remove prior to installing the hinges, it is easier to insert screws then into hinge by hand and also balance door with one person. 3. Pay close attention to which door with WHICH HINGE type (M or N) you are to put on the right or left side. When done properly the doors will look perfect after tweaking the position by turning the adjustment screws on the hinges.

Please, please highlight the door hinges assembly instructions!!! It's so easy to miss it.

The color was different then the picture.

Overall, this is just an okay product. It looks nice under my 82 inch TV.The preexisting holes made to install the doors (the very last thing to do) are incorrectly done. Once you have put the entire thing together and used glue (included), the doors do not line up and will not close correctly. Opening one door, closes another. When closing the doors, you have to line them up and close them at the same time. If you don't, one door sits on top of the other and doesn't shut completely.After everything was done, I sat on it to test the sturdiness. It tipped toward the weight. There isn't enough leg support to keep it from tipping when the weight is uneven.Also, the cabinets are unevenly spaced. My cable box only fits inside of one cabinets and the PS4 doesn't fit properly. Once we got it to sit inside, the heat from having the door closed just about melted the wires. I bought this unit to hide the buttons on things so that my 1.5 yr. old wouldn't be able to access anything. It's not doing me any good if I have to sit things on the top of it.My biggest issue is that after all is said and done, I can't take it apart to send it back. It's been glued together with the glue that is included in the package/ instructions. The imperfection is livable so I guess it's fine for now.
