Better have extra mounting screws on hand.
Needs more than two screws. Other than that they're perfect.

This long picatinny rRail is strong, in Solid Aircraft Aluminum/Hard Anodizing for Tight Tolerance.
I need a long & strong picatinny rail so as to properly support a couple pounds of scope + day/night monocular.....and with it's length being about a foot long and Solid Aircraft Aluminum with Hard Anodizing for Tight Tolerance, both of those things are achieved. As far as eye relief necessary I think it's good, and I need it to be securely supporting my scope + monocular camera....and if I get disappointed with this, I'll be sure to add on to this appraisal and let you know. Thus far, it looks to be my best bet.....I 'may' need variable eye-relief adjustment, and it appears to be good, but I haven't proven that to myself as of yet. So far, it looks great. It's for a 30-06. part 2: Cancel the 30-06! No way can I attach it to the this rifle, except for 3 of the 4 screws......sorry, my mistake. In order to use all 4 screws, I would have to drill & countersink another hole in the 10" rail, but due to the load of the heavy scope + monocular attachment, I chose to revert back to my 5 3/4 rail, so I can keep using all 4 mounting holes. I apologize for the hasty review before. Too bad, though. I could use the extra eye relief adjustment for the 30-06.....but I'll manage OK with 4 1/4" less. I may still find a good use for the 10" rail, howerer. I have other rifles. mjm

Lazy zero
I got this to zero new optics cause im lazy. I have one that I never use and when I get a new one I slap it on the rail, and move the aim point to match my other zeroed optic. Its obviously not going to be perfect but youd be surprised how close you can get it. Then on range day its very minimal to actually dial right on.

Sturdy, but….
Just installed 2 of these on a Aero hand guard. The material and specs seem good. However, after shooting (3) 5.56 rounds the empty rail loosened up. The rail with a tactical flashlight did not loosen . The flashlight might be acting like a shock damper. I retightened the loose rail and again fired 3 rounds and the rail loosened up again. Upon trying to tighten tighter the heads of the screws rounded. Not sure if the hand guard is thinner material and the screws bottom out before tightening up. But will try to modify to fix problem.

Good value
Works great. Feels sturdy and mounts pretty securely. This rail does NOT have the small ridges that lock the rail in to the mlock slots, but as long as you're not mounting anything thay needs to hold zero you should be good.
