Makes draining easier!
I bought this for our Whytner ARC 14s to make draining easier. I thought the price a little steep but it does what it should. I've only drained my unit about 3 times since owning, about once a month, all of those times where I've asked, "I wonder how much water is in the unit?" About one of these buckets worth. I unscrew the thing covering the whole, put the bucket against the hole and lean the unit towards me. The water comes out and I carry it to the sink. I say it works well. Previously I used a sheet pan to put under the unit and collect whatever water came out. I suppose the bucket is easier than the sheet pan. Recommended!

Works great with my Sharp portable AC!
This portable AC drain bucket worked perfectly to drain my Sharp CV-P10RC portable AC. No spilling at all! It is nice to have a well designed product that does what you need it to do!

It fits the bill and a solid piece. Only ...
It fits the bill and a solid piece. Only complaint is 'why' couldn't Whynter given the tube that will reach from the drain into the drainer? I mean, come on! Had to buy one from Home Depot and just leave it on the drain and it's length just sits within the drain container behind the air conditioner.

Waste of money - use a baking sheet instead
This was a complete waste of money. Trying to angle this thing in a way where the water came out of the AC , then trying to keep it from spilling on the floor was ridiculous. I tried this multiple times and eventually realized that a small baking sheet that I had could slide under the ac and allow it to drain without issue. I also used an absorbent sponge in the tray to keep the water from sloshing around and out of the tray. So for less than $10 I had a solution that I’m still using a year later. Couldn’t return this because the time period had passed.

slightly usefull
Does not workk well for my arc14sh. It is difficult to line up just right to catch the water just right. I usually end up with puddle under the unit when I am done.

Works best with hose
I use this for my ARC-122DS. The little spout on the bucket fits just under the draining opening but it's not quite long enough to catch the water if it's dripping slowly, which means the water will stick to the AC more and end up dripping to the bottom of the opening rather than into the bucket. It would work best in conjunction with a small amount of flexible tubing, which is pretty inconvenient. I do like the shape of the bucket; it's easier to transport than a plate of water.

Perfect Tool for Draining Portable A/C.
I no longer have to take my portable a/c to ti[p and drain in the shower. I elevated my portable a/c with these : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DRTSPJ4S?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 This is enough room to get this draining tool underneath without disconnecting anything. There is enough room to slant the drain tool vertically. The angles of this drain tool are perfectly designed to drain the upper and lower sections.
