Nestle Novasource Renal Nutritionally Complete Formula Strawberry 8 oz Carton 24 Ct

I wish it were less expensive, but the Novasource protein drinks are not overly sweet and do not turn to pudding in my refrigerator (Nepro--they make a fantastic killer pecan you can buy on Amazon. Just do not leave it in the fridge over long, like weeks. ). They also do not have the bean flavor that other protein drinks have (Kate Farms). Since I cannot find a cheaper, palatable protein drink, it is good value for the money. (I use it for my loss of protein due to chronic renal failure. I lost 70 pounds recently and was advised by my nutritionist that I better get off my -ss and quit ignoring my drop in albumen [protein] because it was going to affect my heart.) It doesn't help my energy level because of my illnesses; there is only so much a supplement can do. If you are too lazy to look up the protein content, it has 19% protein, and it qualifies as a meal replacement according to my nutritionist. It comes in strawberry and vanilla, both are not offensive to me. (As I say I say in my Yelp reviews on restaurants, food tastes are like music; you either like it or you don't.)

These are a creamy, delicious nutritional drink made for people on dialysis, so it has lower potassium and phosphorus added. A great meal replacement.

Nice thick and enjoyable flaver. Options for Dialysis patients very minimal. Glad to have an option, but way too expensive to use every day.
