My wife's loss was my gain as the wood grain on this item didn't jive well with her desk so instead of returning it I brought it to the office where it's been not only functional but looks great. It ended up being a lot handier than I thought it would be and nicely organizes all the smaller items that were previously scattered around my desk.

I quite like this product. It's a great idea. It holds all the little things that were like junky clutter on my desktop but that I really do use and access several times a day. Pen, glasses, post-its, ear buds, etc. I would have given it 5 stars, but it came with some damage. There are minor scratches that are not a huge deal. Also, there is a notch cut out that I believe is for a cable? Not sure. I think this notch would make more sense in the back of the shelf rather than the front. Also, the shelf seemed level until I put the little rubber feet on that came with it. Now it's a tad wobbly, so I think I'll remove those. But overall, happy with the product!

This really works well for my purpose. It fits compactly and the finish matches my butcher block counter top.
