Edit: July 2023Very happy..these are still going strong! Bought in 2020!Laypersons review..Background:1. Live in a two bedroom flat, 2 people.2. Sky router in lounge.3. Numerous routers/ISPs over years4. Have normal broadband up to 7Mbps, not fibre.5. Nowtv and Amazon in lounge and both also one bedroom. Only HD read TV and 720 streaming.6. Have done all the usual channel changes, moving stuff blah blah over the years.7. Tried fibre at one point8. Tried signal repeater - uselessBasically although can stream ok and everything TV ok, signal poor and cuts out at rear of back bedrooms on mobiles or laptops. Phones constantly dropping signal one iPhone and one Android, it's not them, it's the poor WiFi signal. Keep having to revert to data or data hotspot, ludicrousAFTER 7 YEARS of trying everything I researched mesh and bought this Tenda Nova MW3.Literally, undo the box, plug an ethernet cable into primary node (any of the three white boxes) and the other end into the router. Plug into the wall. Box will go green.Then second box in wall bedroom one, goes green.Third box in wall bedroom two, goes green.Download the app Tenda WiFi and it will show you the nodes, all three.Then you need to log your devices onto the new network that appears i.e. a new SSID called Nova something. Your old network will still be there. Forget old network on devices to stop them searching and trying to switch to old network. Log onto Nova with the password on the bottom of the nodes, exactly like you would when you get a new router. Go round doing all your devices, don't forget the wireless printer.On the app you will see what device is pointing to which node and you can label them if you want and control them from the app if required.Basically I now have all my devices on the new network and they all now have a full wireless signal so can use my mobile or laptop in the back bedroom.The colour is brighter and picture crisper on my streamed TV content as well.I presume the new boxes with the new SSID acts like a second router/modem. I can still use orginal SSID. Not sure of the tech, not switched orginal router WiFi off, but think you could. Some of the other reviews are more technical.Heaven. Worth every penny. The way I would describe it is being at the point of thinking the only answer after trying everything else would be to get a decent powerful router, I did this instead and it works. Easy to setup. Perfect for a basic user like me. I'm pretty sure a unit with even more nodes would work, definitely worth a try at a relatively inexpensive cost.If this review helps one person and they get to be as happy as me with this product, I'm ecstatic. Quality of life worth the expense, so go for it if you're not sure.Update January 2021:I've been with Nowtv broadband for a few months on a fibre deal. 30ish mb, so not massive but more than the basic. Mesh stills works fine.Have only had the box go red ie no signal or a problem twice on nearly a year. All I did was reboot everything and used a paperclip to reset main node, all reset fine. Think this was because I moved boxes and connection lost/wire came out - I'm always moving stuff around. Avoid sitting box on top of router, they get hot, think this was the other reason.So all good, definitely a life changer. I would not go back to a useless signal repeater plug again, when this eventually conks out I would buy again or an updated version. Hope this helps.

Was looking for wifi Extender and decide to go for mesh as nbn modem setup in garage and double story house. Having brought Nova mesh 3 pack for discounted price of $104 including Saturday delivery. It is super easy to setup not even 3 minutes. And the coverage area in house has improved so well would highly recommended this product. As similar items from other brands are easily triple the price

Purchased 29/05/23 and delivered 30/05/23. Setup time was less than 15 minutes, which gave me full coverage in the house, and all of the garden. Everything works well, and I've manged to relegate an old pair of powerline adapters that were connecting a media server to the old router.The only issue is with my Amazon Echo speaker; it drops out intermittently for a few seconds and then resumes play again. The interrupted playback is extremely frustrating, and sadly there is no resolution. I emailed Tenda customer services, who replied within an hour with the following:"Thank you for contacting Tenda Support.Unfortunately, we must confirm that currently there is not a proven incompatibility with Amazon Echo speakers, but sometimes they don't work properly with our devices.The cause is still unknown and our engineers are running tests on it, but at the moment we don't have a fix yet.I'm sorry we can't offer a solution in this occasion.We are at your disposal for any further information you may need.Thank you."I have bodged a workaround though. I've set up a TP Link range extender and have connected the Echo to that. The range extender is connected to the MW3 system and the Echo plays without interruption. It appears that the issue only manifests itself when the Echo is connected directly to the SSID of the MW3's. There are various posts on forums noting the same issue other than to "try it it bridged mode", which I don't want to do.So, one star dropped due to the above issue. Would still recommend though.

Even to the very moment I turned these on I remained sceptical as I have tried so many different things to improve my Wi-Fi signal, from new routers, dual band routers and Wi-Fi repeaters all to no avail.However, after only a few minutes the Wi-Fi signal is now at full strength everywhere around the house and even in the garden.if you are having problems with your Wi-Fi, such as dead spots, drop out or just like millions of others who are working from home now (having major issues with a number of people connected) this is the product for you.Don't buy the expensive systems as this will do the trick at half the price.I cannot praise this product more highly and would definitely recommend.Pros.The price is so much cheaper than others on the market and great value for money.Easy to set up, just plug and play and then scan the QC code on the other devices to connect.Easy to use app.Great Wi-Fi signal all around the house and garden.Multifulction use with parental controls. (Not tried)Ability to name or rename devices so you can see what is connected and to which node.Fully configurable with port forwarding etc. as expected. Even has a maintenance function that resets on a periodic basis without having to think about it.They don't look too bad either.Cons.Tech support is non-existent (don't answer email or Twitter PM - so head to the forums, you'll get more answers)If you want to delve into some of the more advanced settings then you need to be very tech savvy.The app could do with a basic wizard for the advanced settings, and a troubleshooting sectionIssues with Xbox not connecting. (Needed to reconfigure to bridge settings as arid as dual NAT)Instructions not very clearOverall I would give this product 10 out of 10 for value for money and 9 out of 10 for ease of use due to the difficult advanced settings for some.So in summary stop reading this and go and buy it!

Product was too easy to setup with it's app and works great on our two storey house. No more weak spots.
