Very sturdy, easy to use, and grips well. It is a good length so you don't get burned. It folds up well, and haven't had any issues.

I bought this immediately after using a friends while on a camping trip and quickly saw how sturdy and useful it was. The build quality for the price makes it an incredible value in my opinion and it works exactly as advertised. An added bonus is that it takes up almost no space at all to add to my camping kit.

Used this for a campfire this weekend using 2" - 5" wood chunks.It is really sturdy and was very useful.For smaller logs, you can use it like a scissors tongs with the fingers of one hand in one grip and the thumb in the other. For larger and heavier pieces you have to take the grips separately with each hand.The problem with the one-hand technique is that the handle loops are not well formed to accommodate human thumbs. If you try to put your thumb fully in, the loop is too narrow for my root thumb joint so the pressure of squeezing hurts a bit.The metal is strong enough that trying to reform the handles would require an anvil and hammer or some heat.I won't use it all that often so will just leave it as it is.

Bought these in 2021. They have been in every weather environment possible and they are like new! Amazing product-highly recommend!

I wish I had bought fireplace tongs years ago, they make tending a fire so much easier! Seems very well made, time will tell. But so far I am very pleased. They are not so heavy that it's a strain to use, just grab a log and move it as necessary.
