I 1st bought this stuff when I was in Hawaii, I live in Oregon so I was not prepared for the type of heat that they have there and I got soooo burnt my 1st day there. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to be outside much the next day but I found this at a local store and used it. By the next day I was still burnt but the pain was gone and I was back out in the sun (with sun screen this time) all day again. I will now never use anything else. After about 2-3 days my burn was a tan. No peeling. Best product ever!!! And smells soooo good!

It works great lessening the sunburn

My son completely didn’t listen to me and came home a red lobster from the beach. I had just gotten this for myself and he tried it. Seriously in one day he looked semi normal and we were all very impressed. This helped save him from major blisters and pain. I bought several so everyone has it and put one in the travel bag so we don’t forget it (they make a smaller one I got for traveling)

I cannot stress how much I love this product. We found it while visiting Maui and brought two containers home with us. When those ran out, I went searching on the internet for replacements and had anticipated paying big money for this product to be shipped directly from Maui. I was so surprised to find it available on Amazon for a fair price!My favorite use for this product is not just for an after sun moisturizer, but for my son’s eczema. We have used literally every product available to help keep his feet from itching overnight and this by far does the best job of reducing the itch! We put it on his feet directly after getting out of the shower and then follow it up with a thick lotion. He used to cry throughout the night from the eczema burning and itching on his feet. When that happens, this is my go to first line of treatment.I also use this as a nighttime moisturizer for my face. I use Retin A nightly with can be drying and cause burning from many moisturizers. I never have any burning from this and I love how tight and smooth it makes my skin feel. I sometimes use it alone and sometimes under a night cream.We are big fans!

We bought this stuff a few years ago on Oahu after our daughter got a pretty bad sunburn and I have kept it in stock in our home ever since. I have also brought it on every tropical trip too. It works great and has peppermint which is soooo soothing plus the smell if AMAZING!!! You do have to apply it often to get that peppermint relief but I'm sure that's true with most sunburn relief gels/lotions. It does flake a bit but I can handle that if it gives relief from sunburn pain. I made the big mistake of trying another spray on sunburn relief spray for our last trip to Mexico and it was such a disappointment. I also packed Maui Vera just in case this spray on didn't work and I'm so grateful I did since we got no relief from the other garbage. Don't hesitate to get this product but if flaking a bit on your skin might bother you, I would try a sunburn relief in a lotion.

I am almost hesitant to share this with everyone. We found this while in Hawaii a few years ago and loved it! My daughter got sunburn and after just 1 application it was better with very little stinging and burning feeling. We ordered it once we got home and shortly there after it was out of stock. We have had hit or miss finding it available. When we do - I always order a few!
