Hello this is my honest review here.As a simple person into DIY things I needed to do restore my yellowish headlights on my car. I used in the past another kit witch required power tool for sanding but I wasn't happy in the end result with it plus I had some marks on the light and biddy work left over, I decided to go for this one witch doesn't require anything else than a bottle of water to spray when using the sanding discs an dit is more than perfect. Easy to follow instructions for a ton into DIY or not. Very easy to use jus take your time and be carefully. I can't recommend enough this product turned my lights like brand new ones I just couldn't believe the end result as I was hesitating to buy it. Honestly this is just perfect and works great. Wow!I did try another, cheaper, product on my headlight before I tried this one but it didn't work so I was hesitant to throw good money after bad with this product but I did some research and read the reviews and decided to give it a go and I'm so glad I did.The product just works.It took a few hours to follow the instructions and apply all the wipes and then sand down the headlights. Don't panic when you've done that, your headlights will be cloudy and look even worse than they did when you started. The magic comes when you apply the ceramic wipes ... just amazing.I'm certainly no expert on car repairs and detailing but I managed to do this without any issues and I am really pleased with the results, the headlights look incredible.If you are wondering whether or not to buy then don't hesitate, just go ahead, even at this price it's great value for money compared with buying new headlights!Pictures are of my MX5

This is really good, normally I don't leave reviews but this stuff really works and is easy to apply fantastic results! Stop looking and buy this.

I recently purchased an 18 year old 7 series BMW and the lights were absolutely awful. Yellow, misery and just generally made the car look old and worn.I’d tried the cheap methods seen on YouTube such as toothpaste and WD40 but they don’t work.So I purchased this kit. The reviews suggested it was good and to be honest, it is. You get loads of wipes which thankfully I needed because by the time I finished, they were yellow beyond belief.Panic did set in however. I finished sanding one light and came to sand the second and the sandpaper pads provided just disintegrated. Luckily I have a large selection so opted to use those. I highly recommend using 600d to start with, then 800d, 1000d, 1500d, 2000d finally followed by 3000d. TRUST ME, it’s worth the extra work.Again, after sanding I panicked because the lights look no less cloudier than when I started. However, this is where the ceramic wipes come in. As you apply the coat in steady, slow swipes you will see the amazing work really come to life.Overall, pros are the kit is a good price and comes with excessive wipes.Cons: not so generous on the sandpaper. Make sure you buy a varied pack (B&M sell for cheap) and sand using a few different levels.Overall 8.5/10

Worked really well. If I did it again I would start with a stronger gritt as some marks didn’t come out. However the chemicals removed the yellowing brilliantly.

For the last 6 years I have been sanding and polishing the headlights on my wife’s car (VW Passat) every year as they are plastic and have got to the age where they go opaque between MOTs.Sanding and polishing works but it is a pain in the bum.Thought I would give this kit a go.Still requires a bit of elbow grease but nothing like what I used to have to do.The 1st stage with the chemical that takes the worst of the oxidisation off makes a huge difference on its own. 2nd stage is a quick sand with the supplied wet and dry paper (I gave each light maybe three or four minutes sanding. 3rd stage is just wiping the final coat over the lights and they really do come up amazingly well.Once I got started I realised there was enough stuff in the box for two cars.If you have ever had to sand/polish your lights before, just get this.So, so easy, and an amazingly bright, clear finish. Wish I had done it years ago

This product works. Followed all the instructions, every step i was convinced it wasn't going to work, and then you put the final wipe over the light and it's brilliant.Very happy with the result.

Having tried this on two cars, the results are quite impressive initially. The chemicals in the wet wipe seems to remove the yellowing in the headlight lens quite well. I wouldn't say it is 100% back to how it was originally but it is significantly better, may be 70% how it was when the car was new. However what is rather disappointing is that the clarity seems to disappear after about 6 months so I purchased a different kit from another manufacturer that effectively polishes the headlight lens using different grades of fine sandpaper and polishing compound instead of using chemicals and I would say that was far better than the Cerakote kit. The clarity is perhaps 90% back to how it was originally and it has been over 6 months now and it is still holding up well.
