Disappointed over the broken glass.....

This lantern is super cute but definitely not well-made. It is flimsy and doesn't sit level. One foot is shorter causing it to wobble. The door is also very flimsy and doesn't fit great. I kept it as I was making a memorial gift with it and I had only a short window to finish it. I did not like the floor, where the candle would sit, so I added some greenery around the candle. Also, every photo of the lantern shows a candle in it, but don't be fooled, it does not come with a candle. A 4 or 5 inch tall candle works well. 6 inches is too tall. If there were other options that arrived quickly, I would have returned it.

The lantern looks better in the pictures than in reality. Like others have mentioned, the "vintage" look is achieved by some grey coating that comes off easily on your hands when handling the lantern.The door swings both outside (expected) and inside (unexpected) and once inside is somewhat difficult (and annoying) to fish-it out.Other than that, the lantern looks ok and is tall enough to hold 48-hour candles from Dollarama.I have it installed outside and time will tell how it will handle the inclement weather.

I purchase this lamp and added some micro LED's, it looks great, does the job as anticipated.
