Make Yourself Unforgettable: How to Become the Person Everyone Remembers and No One Can Resist (Dale Carnegie Books)

Dale Carnegie knew a thing or two!
This is a great book for people looking to hone their communications skills! Being unforgettable can be bad or good, but he does a good job keeping away from the dark side. It's all good stuff. I plan to keep it and read it a few more times! I'm actually reading 3 DC books and though they are written a long time ago, the messages are still timely and interesting. Making yourself unforgettable in a good way sounds hard, but taking baby steps, getting a handle on one behavior at a time is ok by me.I have started practicing some of what I have learned and hopefully I'll settle into it as a habit.I believe the easy-to-understand material speaks to any type of communicator, and anyone who does not feel confident about the impression you make, can easily change a couple things once the material sinks in!This information is invaluable for aspiring leaders!Recommend!

More about class than charm
This is my 3rd Dale Carnegie books I have read. Like the other 2, I did enjoy MAKE YOURSELF UNFORGETTABLE: HOW TO BECOME THE PERSON EVERYONE REMEMBERS AND NO ONE CAN RESIST. There were a lot of great tips on work productivity, cutting out distractions and negativity, and even tips on work/home balance. The book was well written. I think I found one sentence that was off in the entire book. That said, with the title of the book, I had expected to read about how to gain skills in being charming, perhaps lessons on posture, voice cadence and volume, the perfect handshake, eye contact, elocution, and content of conversation. Instead, it came off as a book on class and money and getting ahead at work. These are all great lessons, but really had nothing to do with the title. With that in mind, I felt a little deceived. Still overall a good read.If you need a self-help book on gaining class and progressing at work, this is the book for you. But don't go in thinking you will learn how to make yourself unforgettable to people you don't know.#CillasBookManiacs

Sitting for 6-8 hours a day is bad for you circulation and muscles in general
I decided to take my health goals to the next level and decided to buy the Veridesk.Sitting for 6-8 hours a day is bad for you circulation and muscles in general. I use to find my self leaning over my computer and hunched over. With the adjustable desk it made me feel more alive and ready to roll. I seems to feel more natural to stand and work then to sit.I would highly recommend it to anyone and don't forget to purchase the matt to stand on for extra comfort.Secretly, I take off my shoes and roll a tennis ball under my feet to message them.I hope that helps.P.S. maybe your company would be willing to pay for it too.Bill C., N.Y. 😃🍀

inspiring
This book was not what I expected. It’s a common sense guide how to have a class as a person in today’s society. More people and a little more class the world would be a better place.

It's unforgettable
Didn't think I'd be into this genre of book, but I was. The advice given on how you see yourself and how that influences how others see you was interesting to me, as well as tips on listening. As someone who is always striving to be a better employee, friend, and listener, this book gave me a lot to think about and broke it down into manageable chunks for self improvement.

excellent book
My father handed me Dale Carnegie's 'How to win friends and influence people' before joining college. Ever since that book has been a bible to me. I find this book also very useful book and would highly recommend to those that are motivated to improve on themselves, no matter how smart they are! Some principles are similar, but it also focuses on marketing yourself smartly and with ease.

Disappointing
I expected this book to be actually written by Dale Carnegie, but upon closer look, no, it does not claim to be written by the famous man. It is unclear exactly who did author it. I assume a committee of writers from "Dale Carnegie Training" combined efforts, compiling thoughts from their mentor, Dale Carnegie. When I read the book, the advise seems good, but I keep wondering who'svoice am I hearing? Disappointing, to say the least.

Emotional Fortification
I admit that I purchased"Make Yourself Unforgettable: How to Become the Person Everyone Remembers and No One Can Resist" by Dale Carnegie Training because there is still so much for me to know in building my self- confidence reserves and relax in situations where being an extrovert is more of an advantage. There is unique information in this book such as unique opportunities for optimism and the analysis exercise of "What Is Your Day Like."
