Large for kids, but will work
Ordered a pair of XS for my son for Taekwondo. He wears a 4.5-5 in shoe size and the XS runs a little large. They're ok for now and give him a little room to grow into as he changes shoe sizes like underwear. My only negative is the delivery method. No envelope, no box, not even tape to keep the zippered pouch from opening. Just a shipping label slapped right on the packaging and sent.

Protection for my sons feet
I got these cause my son was kicking his punching bag and his feet looked like they were about to break and were all bruised. These give him good protection.

these were never delivered.
They were lost in transit again. I don’t know how this happens but compared to the ones that I bought in replacement these are a joke. I can only think that the functionality comfort and fit would be not good enough because if you want to kick hard, it wouldn’t protect you well enough so I’m in a way. I’m glad that it didn’t show up because I ended up with a better item.
