I have had to stop using regular nail polish due to the formaldehyde that is in them. I am allergic! So I went on a search about 5 years ago for a non toxic nail polish that was a quality polish and was not a polish that would curl off my nails in a couple days! I found the Karma Organic brand here on Amazon! I have been buying it ever since. While it does still smell like regular fingernail polish, it does not have the chemicals in them and they are a great polish. They go on well and dry pretty quickly and the colors are beautiful. I got the color Iridescence color and it is very pretty. It reminds me of the cotton candy color I used to get when I used regular nail polish before becoming allergic to the chemicals in it. Beautiful color! I am very happy with this brand. In my quest to find the best non toxic polish, I tried other brands like Sally Hanson and I found that there is nothing better than Karma Organic polishes and top coat and also their super dry. You get quality products and I am happy to support a family owned business. They are in New Jersey! I am also happy with this seller as they shipped right away and I received my polish in a few days time. This is the only polish I will use. It is great to have found a product that is consistently a quality product!!

The clear polish is of good quality. It is non- toxic and doesn't have a strong, irritating smell. It goes on smooth and is easy to apply. It is durable and lasts a long time.

Many years ago, I learned that nail polish has horrible ingredients. I searched online and found this company's website and have been using only their nail polish ever since. Sometimes I purchase it from their site, sometimes through here. I have been very happy with all of the colors....my favorites are Snowflakes on 5th, Another Beautiful Day in LA, and Glitter Bomb. I remember reading a review before I made my first purchase and the it described how there were no odors really...and that the polishes did not make pets run out of the room. It is so true. My cats used to leave the room when I did my nails...now, they will stay close to me when doing my nails. That says a lot. The most amazing thing is that my nails were yellowish underneath my prior nail polishes....and I have always kept my nails polished at all times. Since I switched to this brand, my nails went back to looking pinkish and great.... I always layer the polish on a bit, otherwise it can chip with playing tennis, doing certain household chores, etc. The Glitter Bomb on top of nail polish prevents chipping but then is a bit more challenging to remove. I highly recommend the nail polish and think that it must be so much better for our nails, pets, homes, and the environment.

So I have developed a nail polish allergy ~2-3 years ago, which sucks because I love wearing it! I wanted to try this out to see if I was still allergic to it, which I am, but thats my problem, not the product. But otherwise, the consistency is very nice, I got black so the color is well, black. Super easy to apply, and dries SUPER fast (but it can still dent!) SO yeah! Overall great polish, but for the price, if you aren't allergic to the ingredients that's in cheaper nail polish, I'd just say get that stuff instead of this.

I have a VERY hard time believing this product is non-toxic. We bought it for my daughter. She started applying it while I was reading to her (a privilege I still get to enjoy even though she’s 13) and I immediately reacted with sore throat and generally just not feeling well. We opened the window and put a box fan in, which she was supposed to do before even starting. It took about 20 minutes to get the odor to an acceptable level (with the product closed). Later in the evening, I developed a terrible migraine and still had the sore throat. It’s 6:00 in the morning now and I’m still in terrible pain. My sleep was cut short due to OTC painkillers wearing off. If you’re sensitive to odors (I admittedly am and react to exhaust, our local paper mill emissions, and in the past couldn’t occupy an office area for weeks after the carpet was replaced due to the glue vapors) it’s probably best to avoid this product. That said, I’ve never known a nail polish not to have a strong chemical smell. This one is no exception. My daughter will not be allowed to apply this indoors or even to enter the house until it’s dried from this day forward, and I think that’s probably a good choice for her health as well.

Really do love this polish! I've been on a mission to find a non-toxic nail polish with all ingredients being rated as a 1 or 2 on the EWG Skin Deep Database. This one finally meets the requirements! Many "non-toxic" nail polishes still use Benzophenone-1 which is associated with endocrine disruption, but Karma Organics does not use this ingredient. Besides its admirable ingredient list, it really is HIGH quality polish. Beautiful opacity in 2 coats, which is difficult to find in a non-toxic polish. I just applied for the first time last night, so I can't yet speak to the durability, but it applied beautifully, and had excellent self-leveling properties. My only complaint is that I wish that it had a wide, flat, oval type brush instead of the traditional polish brush, but there are other upscale brands that don't have those brushes either, so I don't fault Karma for that at all. I am so excited to order more of this polish! With regard to this particular color, I am absolutely obsessed with "Denise's French Cafe"! It is slightly cooler toned than the photo of the bottle implies, but it is very close and it is a GORGEOUS purple-leaning grey. This is one of my favorite "neutral" kind of nail polish colors I've ever owned!
