This machine is simple in a good way
Easy and simple. It has a light, glass door, timer and a temperature setting. That's it. I unpacked it, used some paint thinner to clean the tape residue off the door. Wrong tape used but whatever it worked exactly as you might expect. The silicone mats made the jerky gun jerky easy to do and clean up. The picture shown was 2 lbs of burger using just over 3 of the 10 racks.

Great compact dehydrator for making dog treats and human treats too!
Cute small dehydrator. It does a great job. It looks nice and takes little space. I tried making dog treats such as chicken feet, and chicken breasts, as well as dried apples and strawberries and beef jerky for the humans in the family. Definitely recommended. My puppy LOVED the dog treats I made with it, and they were much cheaper than the ones from the store!

Perfect for what I need
All my extra garden tomatoes are all nicely "sun dried" now. I love the size of this dehydrator as it is easy to store when not in use and doesn't take up a lot of counter space when using. Value for the price is very good.

Nice compact dehydrator, very quiet.
Nice dehydrator, well built, and comes with a large number of accessories. The only issue I've run into is the fruit leather trays. The unit came with two, YAY! But, I haven't found a way to buy two more so that I have one for each shelf. I contacted Septree, but the response obviously did not come from an english speaker and was not comprehensible. I'll try again, but it makes me wonder what will happen if there is a problem with the dehydrator and I need customer support.Update: Per Septree the silicone fruit leather tray inserts are no longer being made! So, beware, do not purchase this dehydrator if you have any intention of making fruit leather, crackers or similar items that require a tray with a lip. Had I known this I would have bought the larger 6 tray unit which has more commonly sized shelves.

3D Print Filament Dryer, Hell Yeah
Full disclosure, I am not using this for food. I am using this for 3D Printing filament drying and annealing. I must say, so far it's been extraordinary, works incredibly well - especially for the price. It's the perfect size for a 1kg spool, weeks incredibly easily, it soars past temperatures of other specially-designed dryers (BIG + there) and has a superior timer, the ONLY nit puck I have is it is set by hour. For my use it's not a huge thing, but if you're using it for less than hours' time wise you may have to set a secondary timer.Due to my use-case I don't have to clean it, but it's all metal inside and comes with extra inserts so it should be a breeze to clean. It's a considerably light device which is awesome, and takes up very little room all things considered.I haven't successfully annealed anything yet, but I will be tonight, so if I remember I will report back then.

Its so quiet that you'll forget its running
You may think that 10 shelves is too many. But if you buy a bag of 8-10 apples to dehydrate you'll find that you will quickly use them all. This dehydrator is wonderful. It has: a wide range of temperatures to use; triple walled insulation; an internal light to see inside; 10 stainless trays and 10 silicone sheets for drying drippy/sticky food; and hooks for hanging meat to dry. It is virtually silent. I couldn't be happier with it.

Great Mini Hydrator
I love this dehydrator. I saw that one of our favorite sushi bars uses it for their cocktail toppers. I found the same one on Amazon and purchased it. It works great so far. I have only used it to dry lemons and limes for cocktails I also attempted oranges and grapefruit, and it actually did really well. It helps to pat dry any fruit before putting them in the dehydrator to help take away the excess moisture. It comes with multiple trays, including two silicone trays. It also provides screen protectors for the trays. It is also easy to wipe down. Overall I am happy with the purchase and use this dehydrator on a regular basis.

Fire hazard! Improper contacts, burned metal after just 15 months.
I've been using this to dry spools of filament. Granted it's not food, but it's within the parameters of the device, typically runs the heating element for shorter durations than if I were drying food, and means I'm using it more like once every few months not twice a week. After owning for a little over a year and using it about 20 times total (I can count the spools!), it suddenly stopped working mid dry. I'm the 'open the back and take a look' type, and you can see what I saw in the photos. They used spade connectors for the heating element, which have been getting hot enough to blacken the insulation into a crispy, crumbly substance. The metal contacts are charred and deformed to the point that I've only seen happen in an active flame. These got beyond red hot.The spade connectors themselves are cheaply spot welded to the side of a post connector, as a makeshift terminal adapter to save a buck off using the right terminals. The stranded wire in the connector doesn't appear properly crimped. The red wire has gotten hot enough that it's started blackening and melting through the insulation of the opposite high voltage contact, which it's resting directly against due to poor wire management.I have the power outlet feeding this equipment monitored in Home Assistant, so I have the receipts that this dehydrator wasn't being abused by running continuously. It had been sitting idle for over 12 hours before starting to dry at 70°C, and burned out after just 6 hours.Inside, I see blackened, crumbling insulation. Parts of the insulation come off at a touch of my fingers, and a slight tug pulls the contacts apart to reveal major charring and corrosion that only comes from having been on fire. This was dangerously close to the live and neutral wire making contact through burned insulation. I got lucky that the spade connector melted itself into non-contact before that happened, and before anything got hot enough to ignite plastic.
