I purchased this for my husband who loves orchids. He loves it and enjoys having friends guess which of his orchids are artificial and which are real. Many times they mistake this one for a real one.

I recently acquired a beautiful antique footbath that called for pink orchids. Since I seem to always kill orchids I wanted to find a quality faux drop-in. I quickly learned most quality drop-ins are are in the $200-$250 range, which is just silly. I took a chance on this faux orchid for MUCH less than $250 and was pleasantly surprised. I'm not a fan of the silver pot that comes with it so I just put it inside my footbath and covered it with moss. I also hot glued a little moss around the gold twist ties that attach the orchid stems to the bamboo rods. Speaking of which, the rods are plastic, but I will probably change those out later. The grass that sticks up looks pretty fake, however, that's not a big deal because you can just cut it off. The actual orchid leaves are surprisingly realistic with a nice texture and the flowers are a lovely pink color. You have to get up close before you can tell the plant isn't real.TLDR: Not perfect, but close to it.
