I’m seeing mixed answers: does a single cubby hold size 12 men’s shoes? It can be stacked I just want to make sure that two shoes fit in one cubby.

Can this be assembled without the cubbie dividers? Ours would be going under a mounted TV & used for storage, not meant for holding any weight.

Even if there is no weight on the top of the bench, without any supports underneath, it may sag in the middle. The bottom shelf has a support under the bottom (you cannot see it - it is behind the center of the front stabilizer). Would this similar product work for you?
