I bought mine to fit snug. I wear a under shirt/tank top under it. I'm 6"0 240 pounds I have a XL.

I purchased a size small. I’m m female weigh 130 and am curvy it fits great. The elastic on sides helps with a fitted look. As for snugness I’d say not to tigh not too loose. I wear a blouse under mine. I’m an equestrian not a motorcycle rider. So after my ride I can chose how to wear it. Dunk it again or not. Depends on the weather. The arm holes are large so wearing something under it works for me. I really like mine. It’s my own swamp cooler.

These are a unisex, they have elastic sides on them, so they really stretch when you sit down, they are short, because you wear them under a jacket, and you dont want it long and making the bend of your lap. They really work from customer feedback on them.

Q: Can this be frozen after hydrating? I live in a very humid climate where evaporative cooling doesn't work so well?

We soaked our vests in ice cold water, put them in a ziplock bag, and kept them in the refrigerator or cooler until we needed them. I don't know if you could freeze the vests once they are wet and be able to put it on when you need to. Might be very uncomfortable. We bought the vests for a motorcycle trip in the dry desert heat and they worked wonders.
