Great variant of the rubiks cube
I got this as a joke present for my colleague at work, who loves completing a Rubik's cube, no matter how many times I mess it up.Managed to find this gem in an attempt to make his solving even more difficult. He didn't know it existed and it's made his solving more difficult!Great creation!

Fun and frustrating!
It is impossible, so don’t buy this expecting to complete this straight away! Hours of in for my child, who completed the first Rubik’s cube and desperately wanted to get this. Well packaged, lovely gift, for problem solver, or fidgeter alike!

Unique and pretty tough
The media could not be loaded. Really pleased to add this cube to my rubix collection. It's definitely more challenging than a standard cube (won't be scrambling it as often!) and looks pretty cool. Sometimes it's hard to see both colours properly if the lighting isn't right which is a bit annoying but other than that I love it

Fun to use and looks really cool
The media could not be loaded. The cube moves nice and smoothly, not as smooth as the magnetic ones but still easy to use. The colour changing stickers look really cool especially when on display. I keep mine on my shelf and it’s fun to watch the colours change as I move across the room. Now about the actual functionality of the cube. It’s definitely doable, but just to give you an idea, I can solve a normal cube within about 2 minutes but this took me about 6 hours to complete. So it’s not simple or beginner friendly. Also I don’t think I could complete it without the solved reference grid (I attached a picture of it) so I don’t know if that’s cheating. The problem is you can’t be sure if the face is entirely correct since the each sticker has two colours so checking with the grid after completing a face is reassuring but I think after doing it a few times I’d probably be able to memorise what the correct colour is for each one. Something I noticed was that there were scratches in some of my stickers which was a little frustrating, and also makes me want to be more careful with the cube since I don’t want to cause more scratches so the quality isn’t the best, hence the 4 stars. But for the price paid, it’s worth it I think. I paid £14.64, (I think the price went down for a bit) but I wouldn’t pay more than £15 for it.

Works those problem solving grey cells
Gets you rethinking the cube solutions. It's not impossible, but definitely hard work. You think you are almost there, then realise its impossible to solve the last layer without moving or swapping a couple of pieces in the first or second layer that you thought you'd completed OK!Some edges look the same which ever way you look at them, or match other edges. It's only when you think it's mostly complete that it's more clear to see they don't quite change colour in the same way as their neighbours.Definitely recommend mastering the regular 3x3x3 first.Tried this cold the first time, honestly took me a couple of hours. Once you understand the pairs, it's quicker, but very unlikely to be as quick as a regular cube. You really need to look closely at what you're doing.
