Once a month our kettle gets a descaling. The 'Oust Powerful All Purpose Descaler, Limescale Remover' for kettles etc. as advertised, does the job. ( It does advertise for descaling Irons, tried it once, and found it takes a little longer to get it right first time...beware ! But it's as easy as 1-2-3 for use on our kettle ! ). The content is a caustic liquid content for descaling certain household items including kettles, irons, etc. as advertised on the packaging. Good value for money, keeps our kettle in tip-top shape concerning descaling, and is a firm fixture in our household once a month on the kettle - or should that be 'in the kettle' ?...ha ha ha ! Use with caution, and read the instructions before use ! If you aren't sure, seek advice on how to use - it is a caustic content ! Not to be used by minors, or kept within reach of minors ! ( I feel like a walking 'danger advert' ! ) But ! - It is very important to beware when using this product, read the instructions and warnings before use ! This is our second purchase of these multipack de-scalers. They are perfect for cleaning and removing scale build up in kettles, irons and showerheads.We always take a sachet on holiday with us when going to self catering accommodation as 9/10 times the kettle is so scaled up, and these are a perfect size to pack a sachet easily.These will last well over a year due to the amount of sachets you get in the boxes.Highly recommend these.

Arrived quickly and well packaged, and great value for money. Unfortunately, we live in a very hard water area, and I envey those who live in the North of England and Scotland.I use this product mostly in my 2 kettles, when they have a lot of lime scale I use 2 pkts.The instructions are very easy to follow. Boil the water and make sure the kettle is not over filled. Pour the powder slowly into the kettle, I also have a device that collects the limescale that too needs to stay in the kettle. If the limescale is very stubborn I leave it over night in a basin. Then empty water and rinse out with freshly drawn water 2/3 times.Then the kettle is ready to use, and it's limescale free for a little while. It's horrible when you can taste the limescale particles in any hot drink. I sometimes drink hot water, in the colder weather, and to taste the limescale isn't very pleasant, so I know its time to descale the kettle.

Descale everything from kettles to coffee machines. (Just make sure you rinse it out good) Very good for the value.Easy to use just boil water in ketle, up to half way or Max line. Trust me don't go past the max line. After building water place the sachet into the water and let it sit for 10minOne sachet removed all limescale buildup for up to 2 months build up I found. If you didn't remove foe longer I found that you might need to use 2 sachets but after it will be pristinely clean.
