Peak as hell, especially as a p3 fan, also, so insanely durable that-
-it prompted me to decide to finally review it cause i was so impressed Very impressed with these, the bleeding definitely is present but like, w/ the mp3 player 10 volume (the max is 30 for context) has no bleeding basically and on the bus with a decent bit of noise 20 volume doesn’t even bleed any sound enough for anyone to hear and thats not that noisy of an environment and 20 is honestly a bit of an uncomfortably loud volume (and i like music so loud it gave me tinnitus so, it being uncomfortably loud and still not bleeding enough for anyone to hear in a public space is impressive) On top of that, in my area there is severe weather including flooding basically everywhere and i accidentally closed the door with the headphones hanging out the door and we went for a little bit before i realized and pulled them in, and they were SOAKED and despite that, after they dried, they sound perfect, the chrome on the exterior is busted up sadly but, ya know, dragging along the road will do that, but ya, high quality and durability so im impressed The audio is also very clear and sounds very good I think the only things i have that may be negatives for some, is that with glasses, they fill the same space so you do have to adjust to that being different but its not horrible at all, and do not expect to only hear the audio, you will hear basically everything around you, but i like that, means i can hear things people say when im on the bus like my driver saying we are taking a detour or walking home hearing a car coming up behind me, so ya Highly recomend especially with an mp3 player, the only thing i truly wish were different is that i wish they had a mic so i could use them for other stuff like being on a voice call without needing to have a separate mic, but when the negative is “i wanna be able to use it more” thats hardly much of a negative Also, p3 fans looking at it trying to decide, just do it, the price is good, and if you get an mp3 player as well it combos great, i literally feel like makoto/kotone every day and its so peak, got all the persona3 osts on there But ya, if you are out of the house a lot especially, just get it, they also easily and nicely slide onto some bag straps and its so nice, just get it!!

Love them!!
For their price, these are excellent headphones. I prefer these to AirPods, and having them hang around your neck is awesome. The pros and cons: Pros: -the price is excellent for what they are. Other similar Audio Technical headphones of this type are around $100-200, and while those are slightly better, they’re not nearly good enough to justify the price. -decent audio quality. I’d say they’re around the same if not a bit below what I’d expect for a normal pair of AirPods. They’re definitely walking headphones; they’re just meant for causal listening. If you’re a true audiophile, this probably isn’t for you. -I really love the style, they’re definitely unique and pretty sleek, especially if you wear them around your neck as intended. They definitely stand out; whether that’s a pro or con is up to you. Cons: -the audio bleeds a lot. You can’t (or shouldn’t) blare music on these, because it’ll inevitably annoy everybody around you. Like I said, they’re definitely walking headphones; they let in a lot of surrounding sound, which isn’t necessarily bad, but it’s a con if you want an isolated sound experience. These are definitely meant for lower-volume, more chill experiences. -comfort varies by headphone. I’ve bought 2 pairs; my first pair had a bit of a plastic burr on one of the clips, which made listening pretty uncomfortable. After they broke (my fault) I got a second pair with no plastic burr, and they were 100x more comfortable, I could (and do) wear them for hours on end. This could easily be solved with some fine sandpaper, but something to mention. -the little sliding cable-managing plastic bit that shortens the length of the headphones is really flimsy, it slides around pretty often. Again, not a huge deal, and some glue would probably help it. Overall: definitely recommend if it’s something that appeals to you. They’ve got flaws, but if you kinda dig these weird but cool headphones, then 100% go for it, it’s an awesome experience for the low price.

Orpheus Would be Proud
First of all, the service I received from Japan Import was phenomenal. These took about 2 weeks to get here, being by far the least amount of time I've waited for an item over seas. The little paper swan and note were also an awesome gesture. It's actually sitting on my desk as I write this, heheh! Any way, on the the review! I was sceptical when I first read the reviews on these, but decided to pick up a pair regardless, given how cheap they are. I was very surprised at how well they handled pretty much whatever I threw at them. While they are more treble orientated, the higher notes aren't piercing at all, and the bass lines, while a bit muddled in noisy environments, sound surprisingly crisp. They're pretty versatile, as well. Along with music, gaming and YouTube both sound great, given you've adjusted the volume properly. Although, my favorite use for these has to be mobile/handheld gaming. Whether it be at home, or on the go, I can easily have a conversation with someone without having to annoyingly take out and insert a bud or reposition an ear cup. The amount of sound that leaks is also very minimal, even on high volumes, which is great for trains, busses, and road trips. Speaking of which, of my favorite features of these headphones has to be the design. They're even thinner than I thought they would be! To give you an idea, it's about the width of three quarters stacked on top of each other. Given their slim design, they're very discrete, despite their metallic finish, and I would feel completely comfortable jogging around with these. They're also incredibly light, and I even forget that I'm wearing them most of the time. However, their design brings me to this next point I want to make, and the reason why this item doesn't have a perfect five stars. The cord lengths makes no sense at all. The right earpiece is more than twice as long as the left. Supposedly, this was supposed to make it so that both the phones would create a sort of 'U' shape under your chin, rather than the typical 'V' shape you see with most headphones. This, unfortunately, leads to some frustrating moments of your left ear constantly getting tugged on when you reach for something with your right arm. I mostly use these at a desk, or sitting down, but I can see how doing chores or reaching for papers at work would be somewhat of an issue Overall, I like these a lot. They're sleek, compact, and almost look futuristic. The sound quality is phenomenal, not only for the price, but also for the size of the things. Arguably the perfect headphones for handheld gaming, as well an awesome replacement for ear buds, if you're not a fan of those (they're more than half the price of any of them, too!). There's some slight problems with the wonky length of the cord, but that all depends on your use of them. At the end of the day, they're an amazing pair of headphones for the price, if you don't mind waiting a bit to get them.

Great headphones but prone to arriving with broken clips
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love these headphones, they have great sound clarity in a hard to find form factor. The ear clip style makes them super lightweight, low-profile, and comfortable. I like to EQ extra bass in to make up for all of the bass that's lost to the open form factor. They aren't necessarily fragile but the clips are prone to arriving completely broken. Otherwise these work great and sound great for the price

90's me is so happy right now
Audio Technica ATH-EQ300M clip-on 15 year old me from the mid '90s got nostalgic for the old clip-ons I used to have when my EDC was a Mini-disc player or CD walkman so I went looking. I have several AT products and these tickled my fancy (though I couldn't get that tasty brown color). I just got the blue ones so here's my initial reaction. Packaging: clear stuff, good, end. Pros: Single side cable (behind the neck)*8.10, great color*, super light 10/10, good fit (for me) 9/10, sound 8/10 Cons: Single-side cable should lead from one pod, not split partway down the cable (experienced opinion); things your fingers touch should NOT be shiny surfaces Meat and potatoes is these sound at least as good as any clip type headphone I've ever used, and I've used a lot. You're not going to get bass-head punch from them, but bass is intelligible. Mids aren't boomy, vocals are clear and crisp, sibilance is well controlled, cymbals are bright but controlled. Highs are a bit muted but clear enough for casual listening. Overall, this is a fairly flat response curve with a slight bump in the mids comparatively. There is a definite presence if you're sitting near these. How deliciously '90s! After a few minutes wearing them, the only reason I know they're on my head is Unleash the Archers' "The Matriarch" blasting my ear holes with a very pleasant casual listening experience as I write this. 10/10 recommend for casual listeners who don't have to worry about anyone nearby. My qualifications to review audio gear: I'm an audiophile and former novice audio engineer. I typically listen to Fiio FH5's, a $300+ IEM when I bought them, on a Hi-Res DAP, or one of various pairs of KZ IEMs. For desktop use I've got a Mackie M-Caster or Fiio K3 running FLAC files to a pair of Mackie CRX3 monitors.

Lasted 5 years, good quality audio low bass, comfortable
Got these because of persona 3, both pairs lasted longer than 5 years of regular use plenty of accidental yanks resulting in them falling out of my ears but the wires in the housing didn't break which is surprising for such cheap headphones, float on your ears never caused discomfort and id forget they were on without music playing, the audio quality is good but youre not getting good bass with small over ear phones as these, similarly because over ear the audio will be drowned out by noise so on transit/walking next to traffic you wont hear stuff as easily (but noise cancelling headphones as a pedestrian is dangerous anyways). Never caused back of ear skin irritation which I'm prone to with similar designs 5/5 design just a shame all phones moved away from headphone jacks.

Great headphones! I purchased again and again.
Update 06/23/2020: I'm still using this brand of headphones and just ordered another pair. My second pair is still going strong (has it already been 3 years??) but they have been sitting in my desk for the last 6 months while I've been working from home due to COVID-19. The weak point of these headphone are definitely the cord. If you are like me and play with it at all, the oils on your hands will eventually cause it to lose flexiblily and crack (my current pair is starting to get stiff). Still, cannot argue with the price for a couple of years of daily use! -------------------------- Update 01/10/2017: I updated my review to 5 stars. I really love these headphones. I noticed a few months ago that the cord was beginning to split so I ordered a new pair to have for a replacement. Today I had to say goodbye to my original pair as the cord finally broke and the sound in the left ear quit. (This is my own fault as I tend to play with the cord a lot and the oils from my hands over time made the cord stiff and therefor it cracked). Still, two years is not bad for a cheap pair of headphones like this. I plan to keep buying these as long as they have them available. ----------------------------- Original Review 03/04/2015: I was looking for a replacement for my Phillips SBC HS430 headphones as they were my absolute favorite and Phillips stopped making them. I cannot stand in-ear headphones, which seems to be about all you can buy now (or the super bulky noise-cancelling ones). Overall I really like these headphones. I work in a cubical environment and use them to listen to my iPod for at least 6 hours a day. These are super light, have nice sound quality, and I love the bright color. I have rated them 4-stars because I occasionally notice a burning rubber smell, especially when I first started using them. Not sure if I'm just used to it now, or if it has subsided? This worries me because I'm concerned how long they will last. I plan on keeping an eye on this product and may order more in the future to have some on stand-by. Hoping they last me a good long while.

Pretty stylish and okay quality headphones!
These headphones are actually pretty good! I just got them today (really fast shipping). After wearing them for a couple of hours, they still feel comfortable and fit well on my ears. I mainly bought them because they're inspired by the protagonist of Persona 3, but didn't expect this level of audio quality. I wear glasses, and I remember reading in the reviews that these kind of headphones are good for people with glasses. These reviews are pretty spot-on. These headphones fit relatively well with my glasses, but the ears of the glasses are a little thick at the end and I think if I wear them both for too long, they might irritate me. The quality is pretty low build wise though. The headphones are made entirely of plastic, and are very lightweight. I had originally wanted a metal version that would be a bit more durable, but to supplement that I just bought a second pair because they're so cheap. Another thing that I like about them is the comfortability of wearing them while not in your ears. When not in use, the headphones are meant to dangle on your chest so that you can easily pick them up and put them on. One chord is longer than the other so that you can loop it behind your neck to get the other ear. Pretty cool design I think. I really like this because I have a short neck, so if I'm using over ear headphones and am not using them, they just stick over my cheeks and make me look like a chipmunk or something. I like being able to have them down like that, but I've been warned that it might cause problems down the like by making the wire split. (We'll see how it goes!). Bottom line: the headphones are pretty good in terms of audio quality, they sound like listening with over ear or in ear headphones (lots of sound leakage if you listen to loud music) but leave you totally aware of everything going on in the outside world. The quality is a little cheap because of the plastic, and they feel very delicate. But they're pretty good headphones overall. I'd reccomend them to my friends if any of them actually used headphones. They're also pretty stylish and unique if you've never tried headphones like this before.
