Polka-dot-Plant, Hypoestes phyllostachya, Live in a 2 inch Pot Tiny Mini Pixie Plant

When I received I thought this is pretty small but once added to planter the plant flourished and is not small at all. Guess just packaged well to project and was ready to grow. looks very nice and enjoying. Would buy again.

I am loving these tiny plants. She came healthy and she was easy to inspect for pest or issues [none noted] and with a little bottom watering over night she sprang up as pictured.Next day air dry out of the water, following day, I repotted her in a 3.5 succulent pot with a little chunky soil.

It was beautiful if a little wilty when it got to me. Unfortunately, in the next few days it systematically died off, one color at a time. I hadn't transplanted it yet. I was trying to give it time to recover before adding to it's shock. I did lightly water, but it just wasn't going to make it. I can't help but wonder if it was manhandled in transit.I gave 4 stars just in case it was the shipping that did it. It was honestly beautiful, even if wilty, when it arrived.

After my first review the seller very kindly sent me a second plant.It came well packed with plastic around the pot and plant and cotton around the plant.It is delicate and small. I immediately, like that minute, transferred it to a slightly larger pot, gave it a little water and put it under a light. It appreciated that and unfurled quite lovely.

Loved photo on Amazon illustrated the plant.Receiving it was not what I expected for the price of almost $8.00+shipping charges.On the other hand it's cute colorful for it's size , comparing it my lighter in the photo. Going to need some of TLC to get going to look like the photo.

Tiny plant arrived with two of it's measly four leaves dead and dropping. I am still trying to make this work, by nursing this plant back to life, but it's slow-going and not very promising. After several months, plant has grown all of four new leaves, and they are still dropping.Pretty disappointing but it could have been worse- but only if it had been completely dead or they didn't send a plant at all.Maybe you'll have better luck, but buyer beware.

Packaged & delivered with great care. It's very cold outside, but it was insulated quite well. Hopefully, it will get bigger soon...it's very small (see pictures for size) and yes that's a Bic lighter! Will update, if needed.
