Bob's Red Mill 13 Bean Soup Mix - 29 oz - 2 pk

I purchased this on a recommendation from a family member. There’s a great recipe on the bag for chili. I made a pot of the chili and served with a tossed salad and homemade bread. Everyone was using the bread to soak up every bit of the chili. Then we enjoyed homemade ice cream!! The 13 Bean Mix is delicious and chili recipé is scrumptious. I highly recommend this product for both soup and chili. You can season according to your own taste!!

I actually found this Christmas shopping last year as a spare gift, if anyone needed it. Nobody needed it, so I kept it and fell in love!! Looked in the same store I found it in and it was no longer there, looked in every other store around town and finally broke down after a few months and bought it online. I dare say it was even more delicious after I spent so long searching for it. The directions on the back are right on, although I like to make in a pressure cooker, the flavors are much more pronounced than boiling but slow cooking in a crock pot is also a winner winner!!

Flavor is terrific. Great combination of beans etc. Made the soup several times and always get good reviews from the family.

As with any dried bean product, there’s a potential for small stones or rocks that appear to be beans. I sorted the beans by placing on a cookie sheet and by the window did a visual and physical scan. I found none the first time around. I experienced stones in other brands and on my first use of this brand I didn’t find none . I will continue to scan them

Makes terrific bean soup! 2 cups of the beans, 2 cups vege or chicken broth, 1 pkg onion soup mix, 1 can diced tomatoes, and you're good to go.
