Cornish Sea Salt Flakes – Flaky sea salt for cooking from Cornwall UK – a natural finishing salt 150g

This is my preferred salt for flavoring my sea salt caramels before dipping. And the large flakes make a nice presentation to top the finished bonbon.

Good flavoring especially for fish

I heard about this salt from a show on TV about Cornwall. I did a little research on it and decided to give it a go. This is where it turned into a mystery. How does it do what it does? By itself, its salty. Which of course it should be, its salt. BUT! You put it on food and you don't taste salt. What it does is enhances the taste of the food that you put it on. It gives the food a depth of flavor unlike anything I have ever used. I have used black salt, red salt, grey salt, etc over the years and when I use them I can taste the salt. With this you taste the food. This will be my go to salt from now on.

Wonderful big pyramidal salt flakes - nice "crunch" when added to a salad. Hard to over-salt anything when using this mild salt. It is divine!

I found this on a Tiktok video and it was exactly what I wanted for my baking. This makes chocolate chip cookies even better when sprinkled on top!

I usually order via Amazon as in the past they have had a reliable and quick shipping service. Not so much any more. I needed this salt for a recipe and had to wait over a week for it to arrive—too late for the recipe I needed to make. The product itself was good—

Handmade in Cornwall. Love it. Fantastic flavor. The flakes are more granular, not really flakey like I was hoping but it is my favorite salt by far. Definitely buy again!

Honestly it was such a small amount I have chosen not to open it yet . I will use it next time I cook something that will be enhanced by this flaked salt it looks nice in the container. I'm sure it will be great . I would recommend this salt but a larger size .

This salt gave me a glorious feeling of wellness. The minerals are spot on. It is also delicious. Sometimes I use it as a finishing salt, it works if you can grab some thin pieces.

This salt is made in gourmet heaven! Delicate and flaky, with a sweet taste. You can crumble it very easily onto salads, marinades and even dry sabzis for that crunchy texture. Get it if you’d like to add that extra oomph to your dishes. However, don’t use this delicate salt for boiling food or mix it in with gravies. You won’t be able to appreciate it’s taste since this salt is not meant for that.
