Not heavy metal construction, but good enough to keep honest people honest. I use it indoors at my job; quicker access than a combination lock. I am not sure how well it would hold up in the elements or to abuse. The shackle only goes about 4 mm, at most, into the body of the lock.Acceptable price (14.99+tax), fast shipping, pretty quick arrival.It is a bit of a gadget. I like it, would recommend.
