A great fixed blade for around $20
Lemme tell you what this is a 5 star knife for 20 bucks. Came sharp outta the box, and feels good in the hand. Thick steel and full tang should be very durable. I’ve chopped down a bunch of pepper trees, and chopped back a bunch of palm fronds with this knife no problem. It batons well too. I use it to baton hardwood for my bbq grill. Ive buggered the edge several times hitting it on concrete while doing this , and it touches up pretty easily. Sometimes I’ll walk my dog wearing this, because why not? Wouldn’t hesitate to take it camping, I already know from using it around my property that it would be an excellent camp knife. A good knife doesn’t need to be expensive, as evidenced here. Hasn’t shown any sign of rust, and overall just a great knife for the price. The only complaint I have is the upper leather keeper is kinda loose so I just leave it undone. No matter what knives you have, do yourself a favor and practice sharpening them

Incredible value for a large, full tang knife.
I found this knife to be a very good value. The blade is strong and sharp. The knife is a full tang design (the blade is made from a solid piece of metal that extends all the way to the end of the handle, increasing strength), which is surprising given the cost. The pear wood grips are a nice touch. The sheath is fine, if a little stiffer than I'd like. All in all this is an excellent fixed blade knife at a shockingly low price.

Amazing knife for the price.
This is a STURDY knife. I did some basic tree-trimming with it and it felt great. The blade is amazing. I was dorking around with some of the tree limbs in my burn barrel and accidentally hit the rim of the steel burn barrel with the knife's edge. I was mortified I just destroyed my brand new knife, but it didn't leave a mark at all on the blade! The poor barrel did not fare as well and now has a small gouge on the rim, lol. I didn't get a picture of the burn barrel, but I will try to remember when I get out there again.

Worth every presidential portrait
The knife is great. but you do get what you pay for. its stainless so its blade retention is mediocre at best. but if you are only using it for brush whacking and general beating it will do the task.by design i know its not meant to be a mirror polish. but with a little elbow grease some whet and dry sandpaper. a good set of stones. a strop. and some white and green compound this thing will be beautiful.the brass pommel end and hand guard area seem to be glued on. i do not see a sign of pin's in them but the scales are. an easy fix if you have a drill press some copper rod and a little spare time to mess with it.The sheath is sub par. but for the price a resurfaced bit of split leather does the job. and doesn't look to terrible. i was not a fan of the double snap grip holders or the belt loop but that is personal preference.this weekend ill have made my own sheath with a bit of veg tan and rework it for a horizontal back carry with a quick thumb release. and polish this thing up and take it up to about 6000 grit. I put a quick mirror edge on it using compound on a strop after working it from a 500 to a 2000 grit and it passes the paper test with ease. only took about an hour. but mind you you will be stropping this blade on a fairly regular basis if you want to keep it that sharp.on a final note. the balance isn't 100% but that is also true for a lot of very expensive knives. what i will say is that the balance point on mine seems to sit about a quarter inch above the hand guard. and it throws true. and is light weight for its size and durability.Id definitely recommend to someone on a budget that wants something to knock a few branches back on the trail, or doing budget camping. i have not done any baton work with this knife nor do i intend to, i carry a separate beater specifically for that torturous job. but you will get beautiful feather sticks if you put a good edge on it. just remember to give it a quick strop on your sheath edge afterwards to keep your edge aligned and save yourself having to resharpen it every trip.TLDR; buy the thing and learn a skill or 2. save a fortune on another knife.

Almost a full Pound of great knife
GREAT value for the money, sturdy, sharp, and beautiful on arrival. The sewn leather sheath, too, is a beauty, and fit for the job.The brass handle guard and brass handle ends and attachment pins are nice accents and completely very purposefully functional. Some measurements: Blade 8.50 inch long; Knife 13.75 inch long overall. Blade 1.75 inch wide.Brass handle guard 2.25 inch wide. Knife weight 14.30 ounces (405.6 grams). Knife with Sheath weight 17.31 ounces (491.0 grams). Blade, at thickest, 0.150 inch.I agree that the knife handle is a bit thin and light at its taper ends, but if a person likes, he/she can drill out or punch out the two brass pins and fashion new handle scales to attach to the blade, a nice afternoon project, perhaps. Instead I'll use the knife as it is for now, as I like it well enough as built.I'd say this knife overall is a bargain, and sure to be long-lasting in use. It's so good that I even think that if "Crocodile Dundee" (of the two movies) were to see it and heft it, he'd say, "now, THAT'S a KNIFE!" --Joe / Tucson ARIZONA

Mostly oak 14-in blade survival knife:
Find quality in durability. Makes a great outdoor camping knife. Or even if you go fishing. More likely a great defensive tool. Rest resistance I don't not sure it really depends on how you take care of the knife sharpening been it in a cool dry place and oiling it up. And of course putting it away when not in use. Makes a great ranch hand knife to to be on the ranch. As a customer I would definitely say five stars. It's full tangFrom blade to handle. That is really good durability

Exceeded expectations.
Quality material and appearance. Functions as expected with obvious durability of blade, handle, and leather sheath. Fit of all assembled parts is tight and clean. Sharp, but edge retention is too soon to say. All indicators this is a top quality product.
