OXOGood Grips Cold Brew Coffee Maker (32 ounces) with 50 Paper Filters

I've been using the OXO Good Grips Cold Brew maker for about 3 months now. I gotta tell ya, it's great! There's really nothing complicated about it, it's a bucket with a filter and a way to strain and drain into a beaker. I use the filters with the strainer but others have said it effects the flow of coffee, so your mileage may vary.Some things I've learned while using it:1. Put some rubber bands around the beaker neck to add grip2. DON'T OVER TIGHTEN THE FILTER! There is an O-ring around the filter, if you squeeze it too tight, it will pinch on one side and leak.3. I usually let my coffee brew for 24 hrs, it provides a better, stronger flavor.4. Course ground works best, I found medium clogs the strainer a bit.5. After I collect my concentrate, I'll usually add my 2:1 ratio into a larger pitcher and dispense in the morning, instead of making the ratio each time I want coffee.6. This unit is pretty bulky, I knew that going into it because I wanted more capacity. I have a designated area in my kitchen for my coffee equipment, so there wasn't an issue for me!Really can't go wrong with this set up! I would definitely buy again!

99% of the product is as advertised. Just the lid to cover the glass carafe is busted. Makes tasty cold brew concentrate, recipe and instructions were easy to follow. Cleanup was relatively easy and the product does stack nicely on the counter or in a deep drawer.Unfortunately, when I submitted a warranty request for the cover to oxo they told me to return the whole thing to Amazon for a replacement. I didn't notice the lid was broken until I went to store the coffee in the fridge. We will see what Amazon does, but now I have to send a whole thing back and get a new one when oxo could just mail me a plastic lid with a silicone gasket. Really disappointing from a company with a lot of products I've enjoyed over the years.

I love this cold brew coffee maker!Well built, easy to use and cleanI used to use a cold brew maker with the coffee filter down the middle of the coffee maker. Such a hassle.I'm very glad I switched to this kind of design.In thing to be aware of, it takes up a lot of space in fridge. I brew the coffee on my kitchen counter. When it's done, I put the carafe only in the fridge.

I was hoping to get a strong coffee base out of this and used high quality beans and ground course as recommended. Coffee wasn’t very strong after 24 hours and drank it straight no diluting needed. You all must be a bunch of coffee wimps if you have to dilute this.I went back to using a drip coffee maker producing more strong tasting coffee in a fraction of the time. The operation was a mess to clean up each brew session too.
