Disappointing overall
Was very disappointed with the book as a whole. I found the whole Thomas Jefferson storyline totally unconvincing, and consequently the Pete side of the story was very weak and the whole soulmate thing just didn’t ‘gel’ here. While drawing attention to the realities of premature births, that part of the book seemed an irrelevance to the rest of the storyline and could have been left out for all the impact it made on the book as a whole. I have enjoyed all the other Brooch stories so guess you have to expect one book to not be as good as others in a big series like this.

Perfect x
I thoughly enjoyed this book, from the first few pages I was hooked, the standard of writing , the way all the family are always included, the historical facts etc was spot on! Well done to the amazing Author Katherine Lowry Logan, I can not wait for the next book in the series x

This was a bit out of the norm
Historical events woven through with engaging characters - glad Pete met his soul mate - fascinated with 1780's Paris! A good read!

Fantastic series
This series of books is unique in that they all tell a different story whilst having great central characters you can relate to. Each book is a history lesson, with this one covering Thomas Jefferson and the storming of the Bastille. It would make a fantastic TV series.
