LorAnn Tart and Sour Flavor Enhancer - 16 ounce bottle

I used this to make infused hard candy and it really takes the flavors green apple and cherry to a whole new level. It’s fun to experiment with in different flavors

I make glass Candy and cough drops. This product works great and taste great. It smells so good. The flavor is strong and I am very pleased. I will continue to use this brand.

Delivery was great, I use it for hard candy and Jello shots , and it adds a bit of extra sour to fruit flavors. Would buy again.

I had to drop a star because the primary ingredient is water. While it gives a nice tart flavor, if used as directed, the added water "softens" hard candy, making it lose the shape of my molds.Will update after I try replacing some of the water at the beginning of the cooking process with the tart and sour solution to see if that helps keep the tart flavor, while also retaining it's shape.

It flavored my candy- without this, candy just has a dull, heavy taste. I use isomalt instead of sugar- a must have if you’re working outside of sugar. 10/10, a staple in my kitchen.

It's OK for making hard candies tart but it's not at all sour. That said, it makes any flavor you want to add a nice smooth tart taste to work out great. I was hoping for something more "jolly rancher" type sour.
