It works just needs time.
It does work you just have to boil it in a small pot with a few pieces and let it sit for a bit like 10 minutes or hot water in a mug and add a bark piece about 2 inches long and let it sit for a bit. I drank two cups and it worked for me.

This stuff is crap
I certainly do not even believe this is the traditional Chinese plant called the god of happiness. I made a condo strong tea and there was no antianxiety at all.. don't waste your money if you want an effective herb like mullein or marshmallow root tea.

Didn’t live up to the hype I read about it
The bark was extremely dry and cause a lot of sediment. The flavor wasn’t too bad once I sweetened it , but I felt no difference after drinking it. Not worth the price in my opinion.
