Teach Your Children Well!
If you really want to "Teach your children well," as the song goes, Martha the Hairpreneur: From Servant to Business Empress is a must read for children (grandchildren and students) to give them a perspective on how one woman made history and lay the foundation for the famous franchises we know today, such as McDonald's, Burger King, Subway, etc. Harper's pioneering spirit is inspirational and motivational for young entrepreneurs. Teach your children well...and feed them on Martha's dreams!--Nina Wolff, retired teacher/director of English, mother and grandmother

Remarkable story!
This was a quick read for my 11 year old daughter and me. It is a well told, remarkable story about an inspirational woman who overcame some impressive obstacles in her life to become an incredibly successful businesswoman. I'd highly recommend this story for young girls in particular!

Inspiring Story
Inspiring story based on a real person. A wonderful example of one person's ability to surmount terrible obstacles and make not only her own dream come true but to enable hundreds of others to do the same through her business vision and skill. A wonderful read for young people.
