This basket fits perfectly in a niche in my shower wall and holds shampoo, shaving cream, etc. This is my second purchase of this product; the first one lasted about four years before it started to lose its grip from time to time, which is good considered our hard water environment (one of the worst in the country). The metal did not corrode, which was impressive. The adhesive disks work well when installing over grout lines; i had to use a razor blade to get the prior ones off the tile. AN INSTALLATION HINT: get the suction cups on the basket as indicated by the indentations, then attach them to the adhesive disks, remove the plastic on the adhesive disks and press in place. The adhesive disks are very difficult to move if you don't get them located where they need to be to accommodate the basket and this gets them aligned.

I’ve had these in use for a month now with zero complaints. They look great, hold everything, and no slippage. I cleaned the tiles they’d be auctioned to extremely well, including with a glass cleaner to remove any possible residue. And as instructed, continued to tighten the ‘dial’ on them 15 minutes later, and continued to check on this for the few days following installation. I found I could continue to tighten some of them on occasion. The picture shows 2 sizes, and this smaller one is 5 stars because the support fits naturally within my (very common) square tiles. I had to slide one of them over on the larger size so that it didn’t hit a grout line. Even that one is still well supported, but I’d remove one star on that review because seriously, these square tiles are common. Why require a work around? I’ll revisit this review if time passes and they lose any suction. BUT 1 month in I highly recommend if these will fit your need.

I just had my master shower redone and bought the deep shower basket for my medium-sized bottles, as I put my big pump bottles on the floor. I also ordered two hooks for our towels that hang on the outside of the shower glass, a soap dish one, and a squeegee, all from this same company.I did have issues with one of the two suction cups on this shower basket as well as the soap dish, which has a single suction cup. They simply would not stick. I was installing the shower basket on a single tile (so no issues with being level), and I tried switching the two suction cups on the deep basket, but it was always the same one that wouldn't stick.I followed the directions to a T and tried every trick suggested in these reviews. I worked so hard at it that I got a really ugly blister on my right index finger from twisting those dang knobs! What finally worked and was getting in the shower, letting the walls get wet, and installing. The ones that would not stick have stayed put ever since, for a couple of weeks now.My two cents: if any of the suction cups won't stick after you follow the directions and/or the tips and tricks in these reviews, try it on a wet surface and see if it works.The hooks and squeegee have worked fine, but those are one suction cup each, installed on shower glass instead of tile. I don't know if what it's being installed on makes any difference.Now that I got this basket to stay up, it is great, holds a lot of stuff, and doesn't crowd up my shower or make it look cruddy when the rest of my newly-rebuilt shower looks all sleek.

Bought 2 of these in bronze for my shower and am very happy with them. Arrived quickly & I damaged. Easy to install with excellent instructions. Color matches my bathroom hardware exactly. Very sturdy (can hold 40 lbs!) and basket is deep enough for tall bottles. Has “feet” on the wall side to keep basket level and suction cups are super strong and secure. Comes with adhesive disks if you need to do a more permanent attachment or have tile/painted/textured surfaces to attach it to (see included instructions). Only took seconds to put up the suction cups & baskets and no waiting before filling it. Total win-win! I’d buy again if needed.

I'm updating this to zero stars. This thing looks beautiful, but today, one of the plastic disks fell off of the side of the cabinet and and since the other suction cup had detached itself from the remaining disc, it fell and actually nicked the side of my porcelain tub when it fell. I am beyond angry.And now - since I've missed the return window, I'm on hold with Amazon trying to get them to make an exception and generate a return label. This cabinet has a hook with a command strip on it, that has been there for over 5 years with no problem. Five years of heat, moisture from the shower with no problems and the Gecko adhesive pads don't work for 8 days.And I followed the instructions to a tee. Cleaned the surface with a regular cleanser, then followed it up with rubbing alcohol. Put the plastic discs on and even waited 48 hours before putting the suction cups on. AND then I waited an additional 24 hours before I put anything on the shelf. In fact, it was over 24 hours because it took a couple days for the suction cups to stop detaching themselves.ARGH!!!I I have a teeny tiny Master bathroom with very little storage space. I bought this to stick on the side of of the 'wooden' cabinet outside the shower. I knew that the suction wouldn't be the greatest sticking it on a veneer, so I used the enclosed plastic pads and stuck the suction pads to them. No matter what I do, every few days, I have to retighten the suction pads on this thing.One day, the left one is loose and the entire weight is being supported be the right pad, so I'll tighten the left and 2 - 3 days later, I'm tightening the right pad. I have cleaned the pads with rubbing alcohol and done everything I can think of to get them to stick well but it's just no bueno.I do love the look of it and it seems well made, but I hate that I have to keep adjusting it.On a positive note, when one suction cup loosens on one side, because of the way the designed it, it does not drop sideways and dump everything on to the floor.

Excellent so far, after a week of use! If this happens to fall off over time, will update.The basket is nice and sturdy, not too much to say about it. The suction cups come as separate units, that screw onto the basket's back wire using the large hand screw (wire goes into indents made for that purpose). As such, you can easily position the suction cups: this is important in my case, as my shower wall is made up of relatively small tiles (~10cm each side). This product comes with reasonable instructions, and a very clear video of how to mount it is available on YouTube from the company itself.I'm quite impressed with the suction strength so far! (And as someone an engineering background, I can't help but find the functional mechanical design of the suction cup quite elegant, too.) The suction created by screwing the suction cup against the wall is extremely strong, and handles about 1.2L of liquid plus my hand pulling down on it with moderate force without any sign of slipping. This is in contrast to the InterDesign Power Lock product I used before, which while strong could be budged by pulling on it or even having too many full bottles in it for a day or two. We'll see how well this one handles up to 2L of liquid as I go through half-filled bottles and replace them with new ones.Of important note to anyone considering this product: having a wall surface that is flat, smooth, non-porous, and cleaned is really important. Any dirt, soap scum, mineral deposits might weaken the mount to the wall or allow air to leak into the partial vacuum created by the suction cup. I personally use an acid cleaner (e.g. lemon juice or vinegar), let it sit for a few minutes, give it a good rub with a soft cloth, and then repeat with isopropyl alcohol to get rid of any fatty residues that might be left. I let it dry thoroughly, inspect it to ensure the surface is clean and shiny, and then mount the caddy.EDIT: A bit over two years later and it hasn't fallen down or even slipped yet! Definitely the most reliable suction cup product I've used in my bathroom so far.
