Time Waits: The Amazing Bud Powell (Blue Note Classic Vinyl Series)[LP]

Sounds beautiful and brilliant! Great jazz piano trio of Powell, Sam Jones, and "Philly" Joe Jones! Only one ballad on the whole album, all songs written by Bud Powell himself and the best bass player and drummer around back in the day. Great pressing too!

Wow. This sounds fantastic. Just stellar sound quality and a perfect pressing as well.Wasn’t expecting to be blown away by this record as much as I was but this soared out of the speakers from the very beginning and would easily find its way into my personal top 5 for the Classic Series so far.Even if you’re not a Bud Powell fan this is one to grab just to hear Philly Jo Jones in all his glory. Really pleased with this one, highly recommended if you’re a fan of high quality piano trios.

The LP arrived quickly and the product was undamaged. The LP surfaces are without issue and it's a great sounding reissue cut by Kevin Gray! A wonderful late 50s release from Bud.

This is one of the real swingers of the later 50’s. Sam & Philly Joe drive the bus for an inventive ( and swinging!) Bud. Time waited for Powell to create this masterpiece.

Another great sounding Blue Note release. I'm buying all the Classic series since they all sound great! Best value going right not in quality jazz vinyl.

This is a real audiophile release, I can't tell you how amazing it sounds, you'll have to listen yourself. Just buy it along with all the other Blue Note Classic Vinyl series.

Pagato poco più di 8 euro nella mia ricerca di conoscenza del mondo jazz che conosco davvero poco ma voglio esplorare.Artista davvero degno di nota per quanto riguarda il mio modesto parere ma è soggettivo ovviamente, registrazione davvero buona, pulita e stampa fatta su un vinile da 180 gr davvero ben suonante e silenzioso, uno dei migliori che abbia acquistato.A questo prezzo è imperdibile

The media could not be loaded.  Ricevuto oggi ad un prezzo incredibile. Blu Note é una garanzia, ma sono rimasto incredibilmente sorpreso dalla qualità di questa registrazione e relativa stampa su vinile. É rarissimo trovare dischi stampati così. Bud Powell non ha bisogno di commenti per chi lo conosce, per chi non lo conosce, ma ama il Jazz, suggerisco un primo ascolto in streaming. A tutti raccomando assolutamente questo vinile. Buoni ascolti

Acquistato nella settimana del Black Friday e pagato poco più di 7 euro...pertanto IMPERDIBILE. è indicato che è masterizzato dai nastri originali in analogico. Non ho modo di verificare se non per la scena sonora molto ampia e la percezione di un buon equilibrio tra tutti gli strumenti.

I auditioned this on Spotify and was not sold.I bought it anyway and it is great. The mastering and pressing is so important.Quiet pressing with good soundstage. I have been listening to it a lot.I am finding out that auditioning on Spotify is not a great way to make a buying decision on these Classic or Tone Poet releases because the mastering and pressing is more than half of the whole package.Uh oh. Now I need to buy them all!
