The clippers are pretty good for trimming around the paws and are easy to clean. As for the grinder, it works perfectly. The people giving this a bad review saying “the clippers are good but the grinder quits working when pressure is applied”, they don’t understand how tools work. The grinder isn’t really meant to grind the nail all the way down, that’s what clippers are for. The grinder is meant to shape the nail. Just like a person would use clippers to clip their nails and then shape them with a nail file. So, you don’t have to apply hardly any pressure, if any at all. Just let the tool do the work and it will work exactly how it’s supposed to. Not sure how long this tool will last in the long run but for now, it is definitely worth the money.

We have a Scottish terrier and the hair between her pads grows so quickly that she starts sliding around about twice weeks after grooming. We purchased this hoping it would help and be low tech enough that I could do her feet myself. It arrived yesterday and within an hour her pads are clear again. This is a great trimmer for her!

I have a 10 pound Yorkie, who is always very fidgety when getting his toenails clipped. Even the groomer doesn’t do a very good job.With a Pet Dremel which I use on my bigger dogs, hair on my long haired dogs paws sometimes gets sucked in. Just a horrible experience for the dog.With the nail grinder and clipper it is so easy to clip the hair around the toenails, before using the grinder with the guard to slowly grind down the nail.No pressure is needed. If you push too hard it’s going to make the grinder stop. I blow into the grinder a little bit so the dust doesn’t clog up the grinder. I will never use anything else again, nor will I pay a groomer to do a mediocre job. I think it’s powerful enough on my pugs, but for my pitbull I will keep using the pet Dremel.The batteries drained really quickly, so I had to change them out in between. That’s fine by me as I use rechargeable ones.

The nail trimmer is absolutely useless. I tried it on my little 7lb dog and it stopped spinning as soon as her nail hit the grinder. I will say, however that the shaver part works great and I can trim my dogs paws with confidence that I wont hurt her. It is not super noisy too, which is great for dogs who freak out when you try to do anything to their feet.

My little dog hates having her feet and nails messed with but with not being able to take her to the groomers I have to try it on my own. Also the groomers do not seem to pay enough attention to the outer nails and they are curling under and look painful to me. This little gadget is great because is quiet, although there is not a lot of power behind it, so I have been working her nails a little at a time. I would prefer enough power to just get in there and get the job done. The attachment is nice to remove the fur on the bottom of her paws. It is a good little grooming tool that I am happy to have purchased and can continue using after the groomers are back in operation.

I love this little thing. Low hum sound, easy to use and good battery length. I have a ShihTzu and this tool is great to clean up the feet and around the face. Definitely not for regular hair trims as it’s not powerful nor big enough - it’s not clippers. But it is ideal for small area trimming and very easily switches out the drummel for toenail trims. This tool gave me more confidence to take care of some basic upkeep needs more easily at home. Strongly recommend for small pet owners!

I love this small size to fit around small paws for yorkie, maltese, and puppies. The noise level is low enough that it doesn't scare any of them. It's so great to train puppies on as well, because of this trimmer I get all my puppies's paws clean. It's so scary to use anything else on the market that is bigger than this size on small teacup or puppies.So I do wholeheartedly recommend this trimmer. It's so sad that the price has double. It used to be $12. The grinder is ok, not as good as others on the market.

This trimmer is exactly what I needed when I was doing the grooming for my Bichon and Maltese while hunting for a new groomer. It makes the process quicker and is more thorough than trimming with scissors. I will use it for the period in-between groomings, and especially for the winter months when longer paw fur tracks in more of the outside weather!
